Henry P. Cason
Services for Mr. Henry Preston Cason, 57, of Nashville, who died Thursday, Sept. 17, at St. Thomas Hospital, are scheduled for Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Scales & Sons Funeral Home, with burial Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Lovvorn Cemetery. H. Andre' Buford will officiate.
Mr. Cason is survived by a son, Preston Shermon Brown; and four sisters, Fannie Carney, Doris Verge and Mattie Cason, all of Murfreesboro, and Delphia Green of Nashville.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday from 6 p.m. until time of service at Scales & Sons Funeral Home.

Roy T. Hall
Services for Mr. Roy Thomas Hall, 68, of Waterford, Mich., who died Sept. 9 at St. Francies Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisc., were held Sept. 14 at Riverside Chapel in Waterford followed by burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Waterford. David E. Parks officiated.
Mr. Hall was a native of Murfreesboro, and the son of the late Thomas Obie and Sarah Emma Bowers Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Sue McElheran Hall; two daughters, Leslie Hall of Lansing, Mich., and Amy Hall Wortley of East Lansing, Mich.; two sons, Jeffrey T. Hall of Waterford and Emery J. Hall of Ann Arbor, Mich.; five sisters, Ruth Smitty of Murfreesboro, Rachel Smitty of Woodbury, Joyce McKenzie of Millbrook, Ala., Carole Nellums of Memphis and Linda Reed of Lascassas; three brothers, Fred Hall of Franklin, Howard Hall of Murfreesboro and Dr. Glenn Hall of Cookeville.
Mr. Hall was retired from the Waterford Township Water Department. He was a part time employee of Ziebart, and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Waterford Church of Christ.
Visitation was held from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Riverside Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Thomas Fleming, Jr.
Services for Thomas "Tommy" Fleming Jr., 56, of Crescent Road, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 1 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Carter Woodruff will officiate.
Mr. Fleming was the son of the late Thomas Monroe Fleming Sr. and Grace Helen Hewitt Fleming.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Taylor Fleming; three sons, Mark Lynn Fleming of Eagleville, Kevin Dewayne Fleming of Nashville, and Bryant Lee Fleming of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Pamela Louise Mason of Murfreesboro; a brother, Bill Fleming of Murfreesboro; five sisters, Carolyn Yommer of Maryland, Cissy Haley of Clarksville, Babe Rowland of Kentucky, and Gretchen Millspaugh and Bridgett Brannon, both of Murfreesboro; and six grandchildren.
He was a native of Rutherford County. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a farmer and a former employee of Samsonite Corp., where he was employed for 37 years.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family is set for 2 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Jim Altmyer
Services for Jim Altmyer, 61, of Murfreesboro, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Wiatt Funk will officiate.
Mr. Altmyer was the son of the late Edward and Adeliene Patchett Altmyer.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Altmyer; two daughters, Kathy Stevens of Smyrna and Suzie Tarr of Winter Garden, Fla.; two sons, Denny Altmyer of Smyrna and Tom Altmyer of Friendswood, Texas; stepmother, Orpha Altmyer of Bourbonnas, Ill.; two stepsisters, Virginia Emling of Herscher, Ill., and Verna Batterman of O'Fallon, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
A native of Kankakee, Ill., he was a retired model maker with Whirlpool Inc. in La Vergne and a member of the Moose Lodge No. 645 in Murfreesboro.
Visitation with the family is set for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Beryle Elaine Brown
Services for Mrs. Beryle Elaine Swader Brown, 44, Hickory Grove community, who died Saturday, Sept. 19, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for noon Tuesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Leggs will officiate.
Her mother was the late Johnnie Lee Swader.
She is survived by her father, Richard Swader; six brothers, Danny Swader, Kenneth Swader, Marvin Swader, Randall Swader, Richard Swader Jr., Gray Swader; two sisters, Brenda Swader, Angela Swader; and a half sister, JoAnn Harris.
The body will lie in state from 6-7 p.m. today at Scales & Sons Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the church.

Kathy Ann Lewis
Services for Mrs. Kathy Ann Lewis, 58, Cypress Drive, who died at home of cancer Sunday, Sept. 20, are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene with burial in Coleman Cemetery. The Rev. John Euton and the Rev. Pleais Hampton will officiate.
A native of Midland, Mich., her mother was the late Agnes Steckley Yoder.
She is survived by her husband, E. Wayne Lewis; a daughter, Vonda Kay Everly of Murfreesboro; a son, Gregory Lantz of Swartz Creek, Mich.; her father, Chester Yoder of Midland, Mich.; a brother, Dennis Yoder of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Sharry Mosher of Midland, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
A member of the First Church of the Nazarene, she was a retired office manager for Murfreesboro Montessori School.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Murfreesboro, or to her church.
Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of La Vergne.

Walter H. Dement Sr.
Services for Walter Hyer Dement Sr., 71, of Salem Road, who died Monday, Sept. 21, at home of a heart attack, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Mayo and the Rev. John Sessoms will officiate.
His parents were the late Abner B. Dement and Lucy Baker Dement.
He is survived by a son, Walter Hyer Dement Jr. of Joliet, Ill.; a daughter, Sandra Dement Ruettiger of Shorewood, Ill.; a sister, Elizabeth Dement Youree of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund.
A member of the First United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran, he had worked for Caterpillar Co., Joliet, for 35 years.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.
