Sue S. Reeves
Services for Sue Smotherman Reeves, 77, Murfreesboro, who died at home Monday, Sept. 21, are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. David Young will officiate.
Her parents were the late Houston Smotherman and Evie Pinkerton Smotherman, and her husband was Leonard Reeves, who died in 1997. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Brent Reeves, who died in 1974.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Anderson of Nashville; a brother, R. W. Smotherman of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Polly Smotherman of Murfreesboro, Amy Adams of Woodbury; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a retired dietitian at Central and Oakland high schools, she was also a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and a former volunteer worker at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Albert Arnold Wilson
Services for Albert Arnold Wilson, 71, Bradyville, who died Monday, Sept. 21 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Dilton Cemetery. The Rev. Clark Harrell will officiate.
His parents were the late John F. Wilson and Mary Arnold Wilson, and his wife was Vivian Bell Wilson, who died in 1987.
He is survived by two sons, David Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, both of Nashville; two brothers, John F. Wilson Jr., Fred Wilson, both of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Pauline Wingfield, Marie James, Edna Landrum, all of Murfreesboro, and Betty Hopkins of Georgia.
A member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was also retired from VA Hospital pathology lab in Hampton, Va.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Lizzie Gray" Swinger, 58, La Vergne, who died Sunday, Sept. 20, at HCA Smyrna Medical Center, are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Scales & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Sand Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Dillard will officiate.
She is survived by her husband, John Swinger; a son, Kenneth Whitney; four daughters, Coletta Whitney, Reginia Darden, Felicia Whitney, Carolyn Cox; her mother, Millie Thompson; her stepfather, Percy Thompson; three brothers, Shelly Gray, Ronnie Gray, Rogers Buchanan; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Scales & Sons Funeral Home.

Services for Mrs. Geneva Franklin, 72, Murfreesboro, who died Tuesday, Sept. 22, at NHC Healthcare of Murfreesboro, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with burial in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Richard W. Gordon will officiate.
She is survived by her husband, Olle Franklin; two daughters, Stephanie Looper, Sherry Franklin; two sons, Bryon Looper, Brett Franklin; three sisters, Callie E. Newsome, Hazel Jordan, Rose Adams; and a brother, Henry A. Walkup.
The body will lie in state from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday with visitation from 10:30 -11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The remains are at Scales & Sons Funeral Home.

Rosie P. Hefner, Molloy Lane, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry McCullough of Texas, Charles Hefner of Murfreesboro; a brother, Tommy Bowen of Crawfordsville, Ind.; two sisters, Viola Russell of Murfreesboro, and Ila Hardway of Paris, Ill.
A native of Cannon County, she was an employee of Nissan Co.

A native of Lubbock, Texas, her father was the late Roy Garrison.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Richmond; her mother, Elizabeth Garrison of Smyrna; a sister, Renae Jolly of Knoxville; two brothers, Scott Garrison of Knoxville, and Jeff Garrison of La Vergne.
She was a member of the Methodist church and a homemaker.

A native of Petersburg, her parents were the late Exie and Ida Mae Hastings Woodard.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Haynes Jordan; a daughter, Lou Ann Jordan of Murfreesboro; a son, Robert Paul Jordan of Brentwood; two grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew Jordan.
A member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a graduate of Morgan Preparatory School, she was a retired manager with BellSouth Co.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Murfreesboro.
Elders of her church will be pallbearers.

She is survived by a son, Ben F. Harrell of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Ethel Mayfield, Margaret Todd, Nellie Arnette, all of Murfreesboro; and one grandchild.
A member of Bellwood Baptist Church, she was a homemaker.
