Sandra Adams
Services for Mrs. Sandra Renee Adams, 48, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday, Oct. 30, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, followed by entombment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. David Pitman will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Nashville, and was the daughter of the late Otis P. and Ruby Gray Morris.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Adams; two sons, Kenneth Dale Adams Jr., and Michael Shane Adams, both of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Alethea Adams Wade of Christiana; and three brothers, Rocky Morris and John Morris, both of Knoxville, and Ron Morris of Clarksville.
Mrs. Adams was co-owner of Triple A Lock and Key Co. Visitation was Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

James Cunningham
Services for James M. "Jimmy" Cunningham, 78, Ethridge, who died Sunday, Nov. 1, at York VA Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Neal Funeral Home chapel, Lawrenceburg, with burial in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Olen Bassham will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Henreitta Warren Cunningham, Ethridge; a daughter, Lisa Murphy, Hamilton, Ala.; a son, Jim Cunningham, Murfreesboro; a sister, Marguerite Caulk, Lawrenceburg; and five grandchildren.
He was a native of Lawrence County and retired from Union Carbide.
He was a member of Midway Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg.

Mackie M. Owen
Private graveside services for Mrs. Mackie M. Owen, 89, Murfreesboro, who died Saturday, Oct. 31, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be held at a later date.
She was the daughter of the late Allen Clemmons and Minnie Lewis Malone and was the widow of T. Edward Owen, who died in April 1955.
She is survived by a brother, James W. Malone, of Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
A native of Rutherford County, she was an active member for many years in the DAR, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Business and Professional Women's Club. She did volunteer work at the veterans administration and MTMC.
She was employed by the Tennessee Jaycees as executive secretary for 16 years before retiring in April 1972. She was a longtime member and supporter of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Owen may be made to the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro.
Woodfin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Clara Bagwell
Services for Mrs. Clara May Bagwell, 86, Murfreesboro who died Sunday, Nov. 1, at NHC HealthCare are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late James T. and Nancy Catherine Ford Reed and was the widow of Horace Ray Bagwell, who died in 1972. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rayola Bagwell.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Nicholson of Springfield, Tenn.; two sons, James Bagwell of Hendersonville, Sam Bagwell of Murfreesboro; a sister, Byrnie Ruth Gilmore of Monterey; a brother, Gerald Reed of Dayton, Ohio; two half sisters, Wanda Thurmond of Monterey, Talene Colvin of Chattanooga; a stepsister, Estes Williams of Cookeville; stepmother, Mabel Knox of Monterey; and a half brother, Larry Reed of Crossville; and eight grandchildren.
A native of Brotherton, Tenn., she as a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Bagwell may be made to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Visitation with the family is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Dale Rhodes
Services for Dale Rhodes, 33, who died Saturday, Oct. 31, in an automobile accident, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Brandon Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. William J. Harris will officiate.
He is survived by his parents, Mary and James Rhodes; two daughters, Angel Hughes and Kayla Rhodes; a son, Perez Hughes; two sisters, Mary Rochelle Caruthers and Gwen Murray; and three brothers, James Robert Rhodes, Cornelius Murray and Lonnie Gooch.
The body will lie in state Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at H. Preston Scales & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Archie William Luper
Services for Archie William Luper, 86, who died Monday, Nov. 2, at Northside Healthcare Center, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Shelton Cemetery. Ira Y. Rice will officiate.
He was the son of the late William and Betty Sharp Luper.
He is survived by his wife, Francile Sands Luper; two sons, Archie W. Luper Jr. of Christiana, Kenneth D. Luper, Ventura, Calif.; three daughters, Denese Day, Arlington, Texas, Sandra Black and Arlyne Covington, both of Ventura, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.
A native of Elk City, Okla., he was a retired restaurant owner.
He was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

George McCafferty
Services for George McCafferty, 68, Clearview Drive, Smyrna, who died Monday, Nov. 2, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Marshall Gupton will officiate.
He was the son of the late James and Teresa Bell McCafferty.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille M. Lewis McCafferty; a son, Michael Lewis McCafferty of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; two daughters, Janet Lee McCafferty of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Kathleen Anne Baggett of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; a brother, James McCafferty of Illinois; five sisters, Teresa Gaynor, Margaret Tennyson, Catherine Doody, Mary Carey and Pat Ashton, all of Illinois; and four grandchildren.
A native of Evanston, Ill., he was retired from Local 17, Asbestos Workers, in Chicago, and had been a self-employed cabinet maker in Houston, Texas.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean conflict.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Marjorie C. McCharen
Graveside services for Marjorie Clark McCharen, 94, Annandale, Va., who died Monday, Nov. 2, at the home of her daughter in Annandale, will be 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. John Cowan will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late W. Riley and Mary Lee Witherspoon Clark and the widow of Knox McCharen.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee Di Spirito of Annandale, Va., and Nancy McCharen of Vienna, Va.; a son, William Knox McCharen of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Wylodean Lile of Twin Falls, Idaho; and four grandchildren.
A Murfreesboro native, she was a graduate of George Peabody College and was a teacher in Shelbyville, Trenton and Clarksville.
Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
