Anna Bell McLaughlin
Services for Anna Bell Thompson McLaughlin, 92, of Mitchell Avenue, Smyrna, who died Thursday, Nov. 5, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. Tim Lavender will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late George and Ada Harrison Thompson and was the widow of Willie McLaughlin, who died in 1951.
She is survived by three daughters, Frances McLaughlin, Martha Ann Morgan, both of Smyrna, Vera Jean Blair of Nashville; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Raymond A. Smith
Services for Mr. Raymond A. (Tom) Smith, 74, of Morton Street in Smyrna, who died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with David Young officiating.
A native of Abbeville, Miss., Mr. Smith was the son of the late Stanley and Hattie Kessler Smith. He is survived by his wife, Norma Lee Paschall Smith; three sons, Raymond L. Smith of Nashville, Dr. Larry S. Smith of Wetumpka, Ala., and Charles E. Smith of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Nancy L. Smith of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Ruby Fisackerly of Smyrna, and Janie Hartman of Shreveport, La.; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. He was a former employee of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, and was a retired cotton broker. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Air Force. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Ola G. Bennett
Services for Mrs. Ola Goodwin Bennett, 81, of Shelbyville, who died Thursday at the Bedford County Nursing Center are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Gowen-Smith Chapel, followed by burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with Bobby McGee, J. Harold Stephens and Ronnie Edwards officiating.
Mrs. Bennett was a native of Coffee County and was the daughter of Francis Richard Goodwin and Jessie Pearl Shedd Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mr. Floyd Bennett, who died in 1994. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Green of Houston and Jan Harrison of Unionville; two brothers, F.B. Goodwin and Robert Goodwin, both of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker, and a member of Edgemont Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-9 p.m. today at Gowen-Smith Chapel. in Shelbyville.

Mary Ida A. Bauman
Services for Mrs. Mary Ida Adkins Bauman, 94, who died Friday at Woodbury Health Care are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodbury Funeral Home, followed by burial at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, with Herb Alsup officiating.
Mrs. Bauman was a native of Cheatham County and was the daughter of the late Will and Nancy Rebecca Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late William Henry Bauman and by a daughter, Mary Nancy Dodson.
She is survived by a son, William Edward Bauman of Woodbury; a sister, Lucille Poole of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Margaret Odom, Michelle Bauman, Melisa Bauman and Mark Bauman, all of Woodbury, and Debbie Parman, Ronnie Dodson and Michael Dodson, all of Nashville; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bauman was a member of the Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Gwendolyn Honey
Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Lee Honey, 70, of Belvidere, who died Friday, Nov. 6, at Columbia Medical Center of Huntsville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester, followed by burial in Morgan Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Robertson officiating.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Honey was the daughter of the late John Washington Benson and Mary Audra Maddox Benson.
Mrs. Honey is survived by her husband, Leland Honey; a daughter, Melanie Gwen Laursen of Belvidere; a son, Leland Edward Honey of Murfreesboro; a sister, Frances Wingo of Chattanooga; a brother, Howell Benson of Winchester; and four grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.

Martha Haynes
Services for Mrs. Martha Trevathan Haynes, 83, of Houston Drive, who died Friday, Nov. 6, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. John Mark Williams and the Rev. Jerry Mayo officiating.
A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Haynes was the daughter of the late William Henry and Elizabeth S. Trevathan.
She is survived by her husband, Howard King Haynes; two sisters, Cecile Sweeney of Murfreesboro, and Earlene Haynes of Franklin; two nephews, James Frank Reed and Thomas Calvin Reed, both of Murfreesboro; and three great-nephews, Chad, Jamie and Rodney Reed, all of Murfreesboro.
Mrs. Haynes was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and was a retired school teacher with Murfreesboro City Schools, having taught fourth grade at Crichlow School. She was also a psychology counselor and a member of the Frances Bohannon Music Club.
She was first married to Dallas Ison, who died in 1983.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Wanda Williams Lee

She was the widow of Frank M. Lee Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Snider of Smyrna; a son, Frank M. Lee Jr., of Smyrna; a brother, Pere Williams of Nashville; four grandchildren.
A native of Nashville, she was a graduate of Central High School, Nashville. She retired as deputy finance director of Rutherford County.

Betty Jean Hillis
Services for Betty Jean Davis Hillis, 57, of Yearwood Avenue, who died Saturday, Nov. 7, at her home, were 10 a.m. today at Apostolic Ark Church with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bill Andres officiated.
She was the daughter of Priscilla Pendergrast Davis of Murfreesboro and the late Ruben Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Walter C. Hillis; two sons, Walter M. Hillis of Murfreesboro and Jimmy R. Hillis of Christiana; a daughter, Wendy Bowman of Milton; her mother; five brothers, Buck Davis, Melvin Davis, Ed Davis, Lonnie Davis, Carl Davis, all of Murfreesboro; and five grandchildren.
A native of Chapel Hill, she was a financial clerk for Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corp.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Murfreesboro.

She was the daughter of the late Isiac Windrow and Lillie Josephine Fain Windrow and was the widow of William Preston Freeman, who died in 1970.
She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Narramore and Marie Stacey, both of Murfreesboro, and Josephine Carden of Woodbury; three sisters, Kate Corbitt and Sue Perry, both of Murfreesboro, and Mary Dyer of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and a member of Bible Church of Jesus.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers.
