Daisy Mai Barrett
Services for Mrs. Daisy Mai Barrett, 47, of Colony Square Apartments in Smyrna, who died Friday, Nov. 13, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, followed by burial in Mullins Hill Cemetery. Terry Campbell will officiate.
Mrs. Barrett was a native of Chicago, and was the daughter of the late Alvin Lester and Jennie Mae Winfrey Barrett.
She is survived by a son, Waylon Poteete, and a daughter, Jennifer Miller, both of Smyrna; four brothers, Leslie Paul Barrett of Smyrna, Alton Leslie Barrett of Utah, Alvin Lewis Gray of Madison, and Johnnie Alvin Barrett of Minot, N.D.; two sisters, Ruth Ann Faulkner and Ruby Roberta Bragg, both of Murfreesboro; and one grandson.
Mrs. Barrett was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Robert Bierman
Services for Robert Harold Bierman, 57, of High Meadow Drive, who died Saturday, Nov. 14, at his residence, are scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. The Rev. Wiatt Funk will officiate.
He was the son of Virginia McManaway and Ambrose B. Bierman of Franklin.
He is survived by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean Ashley Bierman; three daughters, Allison Myers and Roberta Marcum, both of Murfreesboro, and Shelley Swope of La Vergne; two brothers, Ronald Bierman of Pleasant View and Donald Bierman of Franklin; a sister, Brenda Ball of Franklin; and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Bierman was a native of Effingham, Ill. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, and had lived in Murfreesboro for the past 11 years.
He was employed by Rich Products for 19 years as transportation manager.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

Kerry Walton Harris
Services for Kerry Walton "Shorty" Harris, 52, Readyville, who died Sunday, Nov. 15, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with burial in Center Hill Cemetery. Tom Norton, Jimmy Rigsby and Freddy Curtis will officiate.
He was the son of Walton and Edith Hayes Harris of Readyville.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Markum Harris of Readyville; two daughters, LeAnne Simmons of Woodbury and Marybeth Young of Woodbury; his parents; three brothers, Wallie Harris and Bobby Harris, both of Woodbury, and Larry Harris of Petersburg; two sisters, Montreta Vickers of Hillsboro and Linda Reuhland of Woodbury; and three grandchildren.
The Cannon County native had been a Cannon County school board member for the past 14 years and was a member of the West Side Fire Department's board of directors. He was a member of the Curlee Church of Christ and was a retired employee of the Samsonite Corp.
Visitation with the family will be after noon today at the funeral home.

He is survived by his parents, John and Marie Wilson Covey of Murfreesboro, and a cousin, Sheree McBurney of Murfreesboro.
The Rutherford County native was a graduate of Oakland High School and MTSU. He was a scientist with the U.S. Tobacco Co. in Nashville.
Visitation with family will be after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Robert N. Birdwell
Graveside services for Robert N. Birdwell, 99, Murfreesboro, who died Saturday, Nov. 14, at Northside Healthcare Center, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. M.B. Jackson will officiate.
The Greeneville, Tenn., native was the son of the late Benjamin F. And Elizabeth Hawk Birdwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Chloe Birdwell.
He is survived by a daughter, Sarah Birdwell of Murfreesboro; two sons, Richard Birdwell of Carmel, Calif., and Glenn Birdwell of Murfreesboro; three brothers, Allen Birdwell of Knoxville, Glenn Birdwell of Alcoa, Tenn., and Charles Birdwell of Jonesborough, Tenn.; two sisters, Anna Laurie Love and Louise Harrison, both of Greeneville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church, former owner of Birdwell Motel and a retired salesman with Armour Meats.
Visitation with family will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

A native of Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thomas Mann and Maria Hutchins Mann.
She is survived by her husband, John Wesley Russell Jr.; three daughters, Beverly Bunch, Johna Alexander, both of Greenbrier, and Martha Pitts of Lascassas; a sister, Jean Owens of Springfield; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Hobson United Methodist Church, Nashville, where she served as superintendent of Sunday school services. She had lived in Rutherford County the last 10 years.

Sarah Louise Shivers
Graveside services for Sarah Louise Harrison Shivers, 84, St. Simons Island, Ga., who died Monday, Nov. 16, at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center, Brunswick, Ga., will be 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta.
She is survived by two half brothers, Price Harrison Jr. and Jim T. Harrison, both of Murfreesboro; and several nieces, including Kareen Narciso of St. Simons Island and Edwina Harrison Bragg of Scottsboro, Ala.
A native of Atlanta, she was a member of the Presbyterian church. She worked as food service coordinator with the Fulton County School System for many years and was also a caterer.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, Brunswick, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be sent to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
