Eugene M. Brandt Jr.
Services for Eugene Morris Brandt Jr., 67, who died Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in the McClaren Cemetery.
A native of Newport News, Va., he was the son of the late Eugene Morris Brandt Sr. and Elizabeth Nettles Brandt.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Bogle Brandt of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Cheryl Turner and Eugena Layhew, both of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Phyllis Ewart and Gloria Allen, both of Virginia; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Retired from the United States Air Force, he was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church, owner of a television repair shop and had recently worked at Alexander Ford.
Visitation with family will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Cassie Louise Smith
Services for Cassie Louise Smith, 75, Smyrna, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be noon Saturday at Lillard Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Arthur Ford will officiate.
She is survived by a sister, Lizzie Smith; and three brothers, Walter D. Smith, Marshall Smith and Johnnie Smith.
Visitation with the family will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at H. Preston Scales & Sons Funeral Home. The body will lie-in-state from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at the church.

Ella Mae Preston
Graveside services for Ella Mae Preston, 74, who died Monday, Nov. 23, at Mayfield Rehabilitation Center, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with Wayne Langford officiating.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Foster and Effie Mae King Foster and the widow of Doak Preston.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Preston of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Visitation with the family will be from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Friday at Jennings & Ayers chapel.

Maude Morrow Mason
Graveside services for Maude Morrow Mason, 89, La Vergne, who died Thursday, Nov. 26, at Community Care of Rutherford County, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna. Jon Gary Williams will officiate.
A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Moolie Cavnar Morrow and the widow of Allen Ewing Mason, who died in 1971.
She was a member of the La Vergne Church of Christ.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

A memorial service for Michael Andrew Nipper Williams, age one day, of 10032 Palmer Drive, who died Nov. 25 at Vanderbilt Hospital is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday at Woodbury Church of God on Doolittle Road in Woodbury, with the Rev. Anthony Campbell officiating.
The son of Jamie Dawn Nipper and Edmond Andy Williams, he is survived by his parents and by his grandparents, Michael and Faye Nipper of Murfreesboro, and Christine Williams of Landover, Md.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be sent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Annie Mae Y. Loden
Services for Mrs. Annie Mae Yearwood Loden, 93, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday morning at her home are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with Charles Mullins and Wayne Lankford officiating.
Mrs. Loden was a native of Rutherford County, and was the daughter of the late Ed and Fleta Smith Yearwood. She was married to the late L.D. Loden. She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Yearwood Lewis and Ruth Yearwood Hibdon, both of Murfreesboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Loden was a retired cashier with Standard Life Insurance. She lived in Jackson, Miss. for 43 years before moving to Murfreesboro after the death of her husband. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Burnes Ray Myers
Services for Mr. Burnes Ray Myers, 75, of 275 Walnut Grove Road in Christiana, who died Friday at his residence are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Jennings & Ayers Chapel, followed by entombment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. William Fox officiating.
Mr. Myers was the son of the late Emmit Myers and Maggie Earls Myers. He is survived by his wife, Addie Bell Lamb Myers; a son, Burnes Randel Myers of Christiana; two daughters, Linda Lee Bryant of Old Hickory and Donna Marie Jacobs of Murfreesboro; a brother, James Myers of McMinnville; three half brothers, Paul Myers of Murfreesboro, Steve Myers of Florida, and Aubrey Myers of Delaware; four half sisters, Ann Cramer of Florida, Connie June Mulligan of Smithville, Sue Gwenn of Delaware, and Bettie Erbes of Florida; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Myers was a native of McMinnville in Warren County. He lived in Murfreesboro for the past 43 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Paramount Packaging and a member of Barfield Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beesley Humane Society, 1140 Haley Road, Murfreesboro, 37129.

Paul B. Tenpenny
Funeral services for Paul B. Tenpenny, 87, of 1840 Readyville St. in Readyville, who died Friday, Nov. 27, at Woodbury Health Care Center, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Woodbury Funeral Home followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery, with Howard Knox Jr. and Herb Alsup officiating.
Mr. Tenpenny was a native of Cannon County, and the son of the late James E. and Media Armstrong Tenpenny.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Dennis Tenpenny; two daughters, Patsy Gaither of Nashville and Nancy Northcutt of Readyville; a sister, Ruby Tenpenny of Woodbury; three grandsons, and two great-grandsons.
Mr. Tenpenny was a retired truck driver and farmer, and a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

Fred Lathan Tripp
Services for Fred Lathan Tripp, 64, of 2498 River Oaks Drive, who died Friday, Nov. 27, of heart failure at his residence, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home followed by burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Richard Weber officiating.
A native of Vanceboro, N.C., Mr. Tripp was the son of the late Herbert Turner Tripp and Winnie Wilson Tripp.
Mr. Tripp is survived by his wife, Ruth Nobles Tripp; two sons, Jeff Tripp of Murfreesboro and Gary Tripp of Rockvale; three daughters, Linda Seul of Murfreesboro, Wanda Rapp of Glendale, Calif., and Teresa Smith of Stedman, N.C.; two brothers, Robert Tripp of Vanceboro, N.C., and Jim Tripp of Ayden, N.C.; a sister, Mildred Smith of Ayden, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Tripp had lived in Murfreesboro for the past nine years. He was employed by Johnson Controls and worked in facility management. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in the Korean War, and was a member of the World Wide Church of God.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.
