Donna Joyce King
Services for Donna Joyce Wolfe King, 37, of Holly Grove Road, who died Sunday, Dec. 6, at her home, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with burial in Mullins Hill Cemetery. Jeff Goodwin will officiate.
She was the daughter of William and Alice Corey Wolfe of La Vergne.
She is survived by her husband, Butch King of Lascassas; a daughter, Crystal King of Lascassas; a sister, Becky Durham of Arrington; brothers, James Wolfe of Murfreesboro, and Rusty Wolfe of La Vergne.
A native of Fort Belvoir, Va., she was a member of the Baptist church and an LPN with the Tennessee Veterans Home.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hollis E. Pope
Services for Hollis E. Pope, 80, who died Sunday, Dec. 6, from complications of Parkinson÷s disease at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Chapel of Roses. Jesse Melton and Russ King will officiate.
He was the son of the late Walter and Della Pope.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dunn Pope; sons, Engles Pope of Antioch, William Pope of La Vergne, and James Pope of Smyrna; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Rural Hill Church of Christ and was retired from Metro Public Works.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Flodie T. Mears
Services for Flodie T. Mears, 83, of Ruth Avenue, who died Monday, Dec. 7, at home, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Apostolic Ark Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Andrews will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late James Granviel Underwood and Della Good Underwood and was preceded in death by sons Wade Prater and Frank Prater.
She is survived by her husband, James H. Mears of Murfreesboro; sons, Billy Mears of Smyrna, Gary Prater of Rockvale, James Prater of Texas, Howard Prater and Dorris Mears, both of Murfreesboro; daughters, Ruth McGill of Murfreesboro, Ruby Crosslin of Bradyville, and Shirley Asply of Alabama; a sister, Mamie Holt of Woodbury; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A native of Cannon County, she was a homemaker and attended Apostolic Ark Church.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers.

Frederick Brandon
Services for Frederick Ross Brandon, 74, of Woodbury, who died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at his sister's home, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodbury Funeral Home chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Bobby Zumbro will officiate.
He was the son of the late C.J. Brandon and Bertha Gaither Brandon.
He is survived by a brother, Harry Brandon of Murfreesboro; and sisters, Mrs. Howard Smith and Faye Brandon, both of Murfreesboro.
A native of Cannon County, he was a farmer and a veteran of the Army Air Force where he served as a B-17 turret gunner based in England. He attended Burt Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Frances Dement Elmore, 84, of Morristown, who died Monday, Dec. 7, at Mariner Health Care Center, Newport, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Charles Mullins and Rodney Cloud will officiate.
She was the widow of W.E. Elmore.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Oakberg of Morristown; a son, Bill Elmore of Carson City, Nev.; a brother, Fred Dement of Jackson; sisters, Clemmie McKelley and Ivola Dement, both of Nashville, and Annie Woodward of Alexandria, La.
She was a retired teacher and homemaker, and a member of the Rutherford County Retired Teachers Association and Eagleville Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Stetzer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of the late Loyd and Mary Cook Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Batey; a son, Mitchell Batey of Murfreesboro; daughters, Brenda Duggin of Murfreesboro and Nancy Carrol Duggin of Bell Buckle; a brother, Sidney Adams of Murfreesboro; sisters, Betty Sanford of Murfreesboro and Jane Johnson of Killen, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
She was a member of Dilton Church of Christ and a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

She is survived by her husband, C.T. "Pete" Shepard; a daughter, Cynthia Shepard of Smyrna; a sister, Jessie Beaumont of Smyrna; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
