Frances B. Rigney
Services for Frances Barber Rigney, 87, of Minerva Drive, who died Saturday, Dec. 12, at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro from a stroke, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Jennings & Ayers with burial in Miller Cemetery in Christiana. The Rev. Don Edwards will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late Elmus Mitchell and Media Clementine North Barber and was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Gay Van Blaricum Hardison.
She is survived by a son, Tommy Rigney of Murfreesboro; a brother, Gilbert Barber of Christiana; a sister, Golda Upshaw of Paducah, Ky., four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Murfreesboro Senior Citizen's Club and the Fosterville Sewing Circle. She attended Southeast Baptist Church and was a former teacher at Clover Bottom Developmental Center.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rufus "Buck" Harris
Services for Rufus "Buck" Harris, 91, of Bell Buckle, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro after an extended illness, will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Fonda Blair and the Rev. Brockman Adcock will officiate.
He was the son of the late Sam and Sallie Fulton Harris.
He is survived by a brother, James Harris of Bell Buckle; and a sister Louise Christman of Murfreesboro.
A native of Bedford County, he attended Blankenship United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rachel Rosenberger
Services for Rachel Ann Rosenberger, 19, who died Thursday, Dec. 10, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel in Shelbyville with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Turnbull will officiate.
She was the daughter of Arthur and Penra Nichols Rosenberger of Shelbyville.
She is survived by a sister, Rebecca Lynn Rosenberger Speck of Christiana.
She was a 1998 graduate of Cascade High School and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Shelbyville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Everett Pummill
Services for Everett Pummill, 75, of Bloomington, Ill., who died Saturday, Dec. 5, at home were held Dec. 8 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, both in Bloomington Ill. The Rev. Ernest Breithaupt officiated.
He was the son of the late Dorah and Velma Patterson Pummill.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey McMillan Pummill; daughters, LeAnn Gremaud of Pontiac, Ill., LaDonna Plappert of South Bend, Ind., Ellen Pummill of Normal, Ill.; sons, Allen Pummill of Bloomington, Ill., Steve Pummill of Reston, Va., David Pummill of LeRoy, Ill., Greg Pummill of Decatur, Ill., Kendall Pummill of Mackinaw, Ill., and Jeffrey Pummill of Elkhart, Ind.; sisters, Lucille Smith of Vandalia, Ill., Iris Hipsher of Murfreesboro; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a retired HVAC technician from Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Ill.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a participant in the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a founding member of the First United Pentecostal Church, Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to First United Pentecostal Church or Franciscan Hospice of Central Illinois.

A memorial service for Howard Bogle, 79, who died Friday, Dec. 11, at the Tennessee Veteran's Home after an extended illness, will be 9 a.m. Friday at York VA Medical Center chapel. Michael Williams and Jennifer Judd will officiate.
He was the son of the late Logan and Ora Bogle Sr.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Wells of Anderson, Ind.; sisters, Lucille Holden of Shelbyville, Jean Warf of Eagleville, Margaret Thomas of Nashville; and three grandchildren.
Hellum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Frances Donnell
A memorial service for Mary Frances Donnell, 94, of Nashville, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, at Bordeaux Nursing Home in Nashville after an extended illness, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Villa Maria Manor, 32 White Bridge Road, Nashville with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Buck Hazelwood will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late James Jackson Barbour and Johnie Elmus Cawthon Barbour and was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Donnell London.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Donnell of Harpers Ferry, W. Va.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the owner of beauty salons and attended the Presbyterian Church.
Jennings & Ayers is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Marvin G. Short, 82, of Murfreesboro, who died Wednesday, Dec. 17, at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Wayne Lankford will officiate.
He was the son of the late Elwood and Mecca Dillon Short.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Scott Short; daughters, Jane Short Follis and Carol Short Williams, both of Brentwood; a sister, Mary Jo Engle of Murfreesboro; and three grandchildren.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. He was member of the Baptist church.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Barr of Nashville; sisters, Ann B. Weems of St. Louis, Mo., Jane B. Stump of Tucson, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Franklin, building fund or Nashville Union Rescue Mission.
Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

He was the son of the late Jim and Ellen Sanders.
He is survived by daughters, Martha Anderson of Murfreesboro, Judy Phillips of Olympia Fields, Ill., Michelle Sanders of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
He attended the Church of Christ.
