James Willingham Jr.
Services for James Frank Willingham Jr., 68, of Smyrna, who died Tuesday, Jan. 12, at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Smyrna with burial in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The Rev. W.D. Thomason and Kenneth Hubbard will officiate.
He was the son of the late James Frank Willingham Sr. and Ruby Truelove Willingham.
He is survived by his wife, Juanice Odom Willingham; brothers, Lewis Willingham of Kingsport, Kenneth Willingham of Johnson City, Charles Willingham of Elizabethton; and a sister, Barbara Hundley of Johnson City.
A native of Johnson City, he was a retired pilot of the U.S. Air Force from which he retired as a major. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smyrna.
Memorials may be sent to the Smyrna/La Vergne Unit of the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Thelma R. Strohmeyer
Graveside services for Thelma Ralston Strohmeyer, 83, of Elmhurst, Ill., who died Friday, Jan. 8, at Lexington Health Care Center in Elmhurst, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Cothran Cemetery. Vance King will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late Alex and Susie Cothran Ralston.
She is survived by her husband, N.R. Strohmeyer; a niece, Gloria Jean Throneberry of Eagleville; and a sister-in-law, Emma Gloria Ralston of Rockvale.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a member of the Grace Bible Church of Elmhurst, Ill.

Manuel F. Menendez
Services for Manuel F. "Manny" Menendez, 60, of Murfreesboro, who died Monday, Jan. 11, at Williamson County Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Music City Assembly of God in Nashville. Graveside services will be noon Friday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Tom Lofton and Jason Whitehurst will officiate.
He was the son of Eloina Garcia Menendez of Havana, Cuba, and the late Manuel Menendez.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa M. Menendez; a son, Manuel D. Menendez of Yonkers, N.Y.; daughters, Maria Mangrum of Murfreesboro, Margarita Menendez of Franklin; a stepson, Eric Thomas of Murfreesboro; a brother, Alberto Menendez of Miami, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
A native of Havana, Cuba, he was an engineer at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Music City Assembly of God.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Earl McKnight Hudson
Services for Earl McKnight "Buck" Hudson, 88, of Lewisburg, who died Wednesday, Jan. 13, at NHC HealthCare Oakwood, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Partlow Funeral Home chapel in Lebanon, with burial in Milton Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Giddeon and Luzinia Weathley Hudson.
He is survived by sons, Joe Hudson of La Vergne, Roy Hudson of Lebanon; daughters, Glenda Manning, Opal Porterfield, both of Murfreesboro, Carol Barrett of Smithville, Polly Ross of Garland, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A native of Wilson County, he was a farmer and a grocer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at London Funeral Home in Lewisburg and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Partlow Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Mack Baskin
Services for Mack Baskin, 73, of East Jefferson Pike, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center of heart failure after an extended illness, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Jennings & Ayers chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Revs. Tommy Taylor, Ken Hubbard, and Murray Mathis will officiate.
He was the son of the late James Peyton and Lillie Dill Baskin.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sanders Baskin; sons, Stan Baskin of Murfreesboro, Mark Baskin of Barbourville, Ky., Tim Baskin of Nashville; daughters, Joan Phillips and Jane Lisle, both of Murfreesboro; and 11 grandchildren.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a retired salesman for Palmer Foods. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
A member of Powell's Chapel Baptist Church, he was also a deacon and Sunday school teacher at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Powell's Chapel Baptist Church Memorial Fund and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 2101 Wilson Blvd., Suite 550, Arlington, Va. 22201.

She was the daughter of Edna Warrick Brewer of Murfreesboro and the late Onzie Brewer.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Jacobs; daughters, Crissy Porter and Casey Jacobs, both of Murfreesboro; brothers, Henry Brewer of Murfreesboro, Curtis Brewer and James Brewer, both of Milton; sisters, Darlene McCrary of Smyrna, Dorothy Thompson of Murfreesboro; and one grandchild.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and graduate of Smyrna High School. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Tennessee Brown Swiss Cattle Association.

Helen Wood Ritchey
Services for Helen Wood Ritchey of Murfreesboro, 83, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, at NHC HealthCare of Murfreesboro, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Castellaw Funeral Home in Smyrna, Ga., with burial in Crestlawn Cemetery. The Rev. J. Howell Perry will officiate.
She was the daughter of the late Ella Ault and Harlan J. Wood and was the widow of Auburn L. Ritchey.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lynn McCravy of Murfreesboro; grandsons, Steve McCravy and Gary McCravy, both of Murfreesboro; and two great-granddaughters.
She taught first-grade at Fitzhugh Lee School in Cobb County, Ga., until she retired in 1977. She was a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church in Smyrna, Ga.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

William Lee Russell
Services for William Lee Russell, 95, of Stones River Manor, who died Thursday at AdamsPlace are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Jennings & Ayers Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Chip Hunter officiating.
A native of Craigsville, W.Va., he was son of the late John and Victoria Russell and was preceded in death by a son, Sterling McDolan Russell. He is survived by his wife, Delta Cutlip Russell; a daughter, Wanda Russell Mills of Murfreesboro; a brother, Roby Russell of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Lula Webb of Columbus, Ohio, and Lorena Gutwein of Leesburg, Fla.; six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Russell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville, and was a store owner. Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at Jennings & Ayers Chapel.

Denise S. Waldron
Services for Denise Scott Waldron, 38, of Christiana, who died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Jennings & Ayers Chapel, followed by burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Lemuell Underhill officiating.
Waldron was preceded in death by her father, the late J.D. Scott. She is survived by her mother, Mary Carlton Dabbs Heath, and stepfather, Carl Heath of Murfreesboro; a son, Carl David Soffiantino; two daughters, Mary Stephanie Soffiantino and Christy Denise Soffiantino, both of Murfreesboro; and two grandmothers, Rena Brandon Scott and Mary Elizabeth Brandon Dabbs.
She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and a homemaker. Visitation with the family will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.
