Harry Flippin
Services for Harry Flippin, 83, of LaFayette, who died Friday, Jan. 22, at University Medical Center in Lebanon are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in LaFayette, followed by burial in Macon County Memorial Gardens, with Eddie Gregory and Danny Threadgill officiating.
A native of Kentucky, he was the son of the late Sumner Flippin and Dona Perrigo Flippin.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Holland Flippin; by two daughters, including Betty Sue Meador of Gallatin, and Pat Schwem of LaFayette; two sons, including Bill Flippin of LaFayette, and Harry Flippin Jr., of Murfreesboro; a sister, Ann Meeks of Nashville; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Flippin was a retired brick mason. He was a member and deacon of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Old Timers Country Music Band.
The family requests that donations in honor of Mr. Flippin be made to the Cumberland Valley School of Gospel Music. Visitation is in progress at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home.

Susie Perry
Services for Mrs. Susie Mae Windrow Perry, 82, of 511 Smith St., who died Friday, Jan. 22, of a stroke at her residence, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home followed by burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Woodrow Medlock officiating.
She was the daughter of the late William Issac and Lillie Josephine Fann Windrow. Her husband was the late O.L. February, who died in 1987.
She is survived by two sisters, including Lillie Kate Corbit of Murfreesboro, and Mary Dyer of West Palm Beach, Fla.
A native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County, she was a former employee of CPS Ribbon Factory.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

Mary Cutler
Services for Mrs. Mary Pugh Cutler, 74, of Smyrna, who died Friday, Jan. 22, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday at Christ Church Cathedral, 900 Broadway, in Nashville, with the Rev. Ray Kasch officiating.
A native of Cardiff, Wales, she was the daughter of the late David and Brenda Davies Pugh.
She is survived by a daughter, Lyn Cutler of Smyrna; a step-daughter, Sharon Cutler Ross of Atlanta, Ga.; and a grandson, William F. Ross III, of Atlanta.
Mrs. Cutler was a retired staff writer for the Rutherford Courier.
Visitation will follow the service Monday. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Lorin Lyle
Services for Lorin Nicholson Lyle, 82, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday, Jan. 22, at home are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Hahn Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Swafford officiating.
He was the son of the late Lewis and Emma Lyle. He was married to the late Alice Lyle, who died Jan. 21.
He is survived by a son, Lorin Duane Lyle of Murfreesboro.
Mr. Lyle was a native of Barberton, Ohio, and a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Smyrna. He was a retired research librarian in the nuclear division with the B&W Corporation of Barberton.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Hahn Funeral Home. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Carrie Kittrell
Mrs. Carrie Ruth Owen Kittrell, 89, of Nashville, died Saturday, Jan. 23, at Nashville Health Care Center. Arrangements will be announced later from H. Preston Scales & Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kittrell is survived by two sons, Edward Kittrell and Henry Kittrell; and by a daughter, Eula McCall.

She was the daughter of the late James and Gladys K. Stem.
She is survived by her husband, Sgt. John T. Fitzgerald; sons John K. Fitzgerald, James Randall Fitzgerald, Michael L. Fitzgerald, Edwin D. Fitzgerald, all of Murfreesboro; daughters Kathy S. Clark of Murfreesboro, Teresa A. Fox of Nashville; brothers Dave Stem and James Stem, both of Shelbyville; sisters Margaret Leathers and Martha Stem, both of Murfreesboro, Ann Robinson, Shirley Faulk and Sue Woodall, all of Shelbyville; and 11 grandchildren.
A native of Bedford County, she was a homemaker and attended Midland Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A native of Hendersonville, she was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Tabor Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was the granddaughter of former Tennessee governor John Price Buchanan.
