Services for Jesse E. ”Skinny Wade’ Wade, 87, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, at home, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Smithfork Tabernacle with burial in Emery Cemetery. The Rev. Randolph Tolbert will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Essie Wade; a son, James Jesse Wade; daughters Christine Valentine, Mary E. McCullough and Martha Bigsby.
He will lie-in-state from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
H. Preston Scales and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joe R. Bradshaw
Services for Joe R. Bradshaw, 76, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Lera Bradshaw; a daughter, Barbara Hickerson; a brother, Marion Bradshaw; sisters Ella Roberson, Marie Kelley, Mildred Ramsey, Wilma Shockley, Evelyn Waters; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was retired from Rand McNally Printing.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for W. C. ”Hootie’ Smith, 56, of Foxfire Court, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Leamon Flatt will officiate.
He was the son of W.H. ”Bill’ Smith of Blackman and the late Thelma Miller Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Harris Smith; sons, Walter C. Smith and David K. Smith, both of Murfreesboro, James B. Smith of Rockvale; and a brother, Bart Smith of Blackman.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a member of Blackman United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Carl W. Thomas
Services for Carl W. Thomas, 79, of Belmont Court, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, Fla., will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Revs. Eugene Cotey and Mark Gregory will officiate.
He was the son of the late Raymond and Ann Kincaid Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Denton Thomas; a son, John Morris of Murfreesboro; a brother, Richard Thomas of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Joann Burke of Lexington, Ky.; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
A native of Kentucky, he was a member of First Baptist Church and the Murfreesboro Kiwanis Club. He was a furniture manufacturer÷s representative, a member of the Kentucky Furniture Travelers Association and a member and past president of Tennessee Furniture Travelers Association. He opened and was president of Quality Furniture until 1982.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

James Everett Waller
Services for James Everett Waller, 90, of Old Jefferson Pike, Smyrna, who died Friday morning at Middle Tennessee Medical Center are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin, Chapel, Smyrna, followed by burial in Mapleview Cemetery, with Ron Caldwell and Edmond Arnold officiating.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Claiborne and Ollie Belle Carter Waller. He is survived by his wife, Christine Waller; brothers Frank Waller of Gallatin and Ernest Bud Waller of Nashville; sisters Jane Adkerson of Smyrna, and Sara Francis of Murfreesboro.
Mr. Waller was a member of the Old Jefferson Church of Christ, where he was treasurer for more than 15 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 16, a former member of the Rutherford County Commission, and former Register of Deeds of Rutherford County.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Patricia Ellen Woodcock
A memorial service for Patricia Ellen Woodcock, 54, who died Thursday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center will be held Sunday at New Life Church of God, 1020 S. Church St. at 3 p.m.
She was the daughter of Lela M. Gannon and the late Otho L. Gammon of Murfreesboro.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence G. Woodcock; sisters Alice Ward of Summerville, S.C., Cynthia Stembridge of Woodbury, Connie Jones and Carolyn Williams of Murfreesboro; and brothers Otho Gammon and Joseph Gammon, both of Murfreesboro.

Leon Ray Myers
Services for Leon Ray Myers, 67, of 1418 Eagle St., who died Friday, Feb. 5, at his residence, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home, followed by burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Thomas Hewell officiating.
A native of West Virginia, he had lived in Murfreesboro for the past several years. He was the son of the late William Myers and Bertha May King Myers. His wife, the late Dorothy Virginia Myers, passed away in 1994.
He is survived by one son, Mike Myers of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Shearon Parker of Pennsulvania; and one brother, Fred Myers, of Virginia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Myers was a retired Air Force flight engineer.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. today at Jennings & Ayers funeral home.

John David Hare
Services for John David Hare, 83, who died Friday, Feb. 5, at Summitt Hospital following a heart attack, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel followed by burial at Wards Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Marshall Gupton and the Rev. Fred Lodge officiating.
A native of the Porterfield Community in Cannon County, he was the son of the late D.D. Hare and Georgia Fleming Hare. He was preceded in death by first wife Rachel Helton Hare, who died in 1996.
He is survived by wife, Margaret York Dillon Hare; son, Houston Hare of Waverly; daughter, Joyce Cravens of Mt. Juliet; brother, Ray Hare of Readyville; and sister, Alta McKnight of Lascassas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A resident of Una, Mr. Hare was a member of Una Baptist Church, and was a retired yard foreman for the L&N Railroad in Nashville.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Vernon H. Traylor
Grave-side services for Vernon H. Traylor, 89, who died Saturday, Feb. 6, at his Rock Springs Road home in Smyrna, are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Terry Davenport officiating.
A native of Smyrna, he was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Towns Traylor.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Traylor; a son, Thurman S. Traylor, of Nashville; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Traylor was a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ, and a retired carpenter. Also a veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be held from 2:30-8 p.m. today at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
