CLAUDINE G. MILLER, 71, of Memphis, retired from Memphis City Schools, died of heart failure Tuesday at Heartland of Memphis. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a mother board member of St. John Baptist Church on Barron. Mrs. Miller, the widow of James Miller, leaves a son, James Anthony Miller of Memphis; a sister, Emma Gilliam of Chicago, and three brothers, James Pampley of Memphis, Preston Gilliam of Chicago and Herbert Gilliam of Baton Rouge, La.

MELVIN NEIL, 36, of 359 W. Peebles, died Sunday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis of injuries from an auto accident. Services will be at noon Saturday at New Mt. ROBERT E. PEARL, 75, of Millington, retired painter, died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Monday at Methodist Healthcare-Central. He was an ordained minister and a Navy veteran. Mr. Pearl, the husband of Annie L. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven and Central Church Senior Adult Ministries. Mr. Ross, the husband of Billie Carr Ross and widower of Gladys R.
