WILLIAM EDWARD TIDWELL, 81, of Covington, retired carpenter, died of heart failure Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Lebanon cemetery in Covington. Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. He leaves a daughter, Minnie Way of North Carolina; four sons, William Edward Tidwell Jr., Raymond Tidwell and Jimmy Dale Tidwell, all of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Gary Tidwell of Gary, Ind.; a sister, Lora Mae Burnswick of Dover, Del.; a brother, John Jeff Tidwell of Covington, 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

GARRY DERRELL VAUGHN, 24, of 1213 Keel, died of liver disease Wednesday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. MILDRED BEATRICE BINFORD COBB, 91, of Brownsville, Tenn., homemaker and teacher, died of heart failure Saturday at West Tennessee Skilled Nursing Center.
