GRACIE MAE BUTLER, 75, of Memphis, domestic worker, died Wednesday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis after being struck by a car. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Sims Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan City, Miss. Mrs. Butler, the widow of Robert Butler, leaves two daughters, Doris Hunt and Lucille Watts, and two sons, Randler Coleman and Dan Christon Coleman, all of Memphis; two sisters, Syrather Watts of Memphis and Bessie Blackwell of Chicago; a brother, Eli Watts of Memphis, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

MARY ELIZABETH CARROLL, 81, of Southaven, homemaker, died of heart failure Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Forest Hill cemetery South. Forest Hill Funeral Home South has charge. She was a member of Longstreet United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Grenada, Miss., and Memphis. She leaves a daughter, Sherry Ragghianti of Southaven; two brothers, John D. Manley and Curtis Manley, both of Lexington, Tenn.; a son-in-law who cared for her, Ken Ragghianti of Southaven, and a granddaughter. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Diabetes Association.

FRANCES BLAND WELLES DENTON CASH, 84, of Memphis, retired from Methodist Healthcare, died Monday at Saint Francis Nursing Home after a stroke. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cherry Road Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Cash, the widow of Jack W. Denton and Charles J. Cash Jr., leaves three daughters, Sarah Denton Walker and Jacqueline Denton Stinnett, both of Memphis, and Patricia Denton Sweeney of Senatobia, Miss.; a son, William Denton of Nesbit, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Cherry Road Baptist Church.

ESTELLA CLARK, 76, of 1671 Pope, domestic worker, died of heart failure Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Northridge/Woodhaven cemetery in Millington. J. O. Patterson Mortuary has charge. She leaves a daughter, Georgia Clark; five sons, L. A. Clark, Johnnie Clark, Otic Clark, Melvin Clark and Wertice Clark, and a brother, Deless 'Milton' Clark, all of Memphis, 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

RALPH D. COOLEY, 56, of Harrisburg, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired Army staff sergeant and member of the Military Police, died of heart failure Saturday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tilton (Ark.) Church. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a Baptist, member of Arkansas State Trooper Association and former jailer for Cross County Sheriff's Department. He leaves a daughter, Veronica Osburn of McAlester, Okla.; three sons, Jason Cooley of Harrisburg, Christopher Cooley of McAlester and John Harper of Wynne, Ark.; a sister, Jewel C. Henson, and a brother, Fred Cooley, both of McAlester; a caregiver, Sharon Jackson, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Parks, Veola Cooper and Lula Nelson, all of Memphis, Viola Jackson of East St. Louis, Ill., and Polly Evans of St. Louis; a brother, Eugene Cox of Hampton, Va., 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Grace Bible Church of Olive Branch and Telephone Pioneers of America.
