Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Adolphus Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs with burial in the church cemetery there. J. F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs has charge. She was a mother board member and former usher at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Victoria, Miss. Mrs. Burton, the widow of Odell Burton, leaves two daughters, Wanda Burton Pegues of Holly Springs and Maxine Burton Young of Indianapolis; a son, Odell Burton Jr. of Chicago, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

DARRELL JAMES CAMPBELL JR., 26, of Memphis, employee of CCL Customs Manufacturing Co., died of an apparent suicide Sunday in Memphis. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he was a member, with burial in Whispering Pine cemetery in Mobile, Ala. N. J. MARY ELIZABETH CARROLL, 81, of Southaven, homemaker, died of heart failure Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Longstreet United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Grenada, Miss., and Memphis. ROBERT J. CHAPMAN, 76, of Memphis, retired high school principal for Gibson County, died of bone cancer Monday at his home. He was a graduate of Bolton High School, Martin Junior College, Mississippi State University and the University of Memphis and a World War II Air Force veteran.
