EUNICE G. WILSON (SIS) WHITE of Sun City, Arizona was called home to be with the Lord on Jan. 30th, 2002 at age 52. Eunice was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and she lived in Humboldt, Memphis, Tn, and Southaven & Walls, Ms before relocating to Sun City, AZ in 1999.
After raising her children, Eunice worked in Medical Billing at UTMG for several years.
Prior to death she worked at Associated Billing in Phoeniz, AZ.
Surviving are her beloved companion, William (Bill) Jensen of Sun City; her mother, Eunice Wilson of Memphis; two daughters, Wanda Smith of Senatobia, Kim and husband, Shawn Hines of Walls; one son, Robert Pendergrass and wife, Lisa, of Byhalia, MS; two granddaughters, Amber Quillian and Grace Pendergrass; and two grandsons, Dalton Smith and Kobee Hines; a sister, Rebekah Woods of Memphis; three brothers, Willard Wilson III and wife Joy of Bartlett, Timothy Wilson and wife Kim of Wilksboro, NC, and Mark Wilson and wife Kathleen of Collierville; numerous aunts, and uncles; nieces and nephews; and her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lewis of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Preceding her death were her father, Willard Wilson Jr; her brother, Steve; her paternal grandparents, Roland and Vivian Lindenmann and her maternal grandfather, Harold Lewis.
There will be a memorial service held at Southaven Community Baptist Church in Southaven, where she was a member, on Saturday, February 9th, 2002 at 2 P.M. for her local family and friends.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
Robert Conway Covington, 80, of Memphis, retired Technical Manager for Sears Central Air & Heating, died 8/22/02 at home after a long illness.
Mr. Covington was a past member of the Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge, American Society of Air Conditioning & Heating, and was a member of Sierra Club of Memphis.
He was a Christian Brothers High School graduate, attended the Univ. of Michigan & served in combat during WWII with the Fourth Marine Division.
Mr. Covington leaves a son, Michael Covington.
Visitation will be Sunday, 8/25/02 from 4:30 to 8:00 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM, 8/26/02 at St. Louis Catholic Church with entombment at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family requests that any memorials be made to the Madonna Learning Center or a charity of the donors choice.

CECIL E. WARDE, JR., 85, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away August 18, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie; three daughters, Lucia Catherine Warde of Memphis, TN, Margaret Lynn Wade of Marana AZ, Lisa Finley Robertson (Mike) of Benson, AZ; brother, William A. Warde of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces and a nephew. Cecil was a graduate of Central H.S. in Memphis, attended Rhodes College and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army for 44 months in the European Theater. Cecil was an elder at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis and Past President of the couples Sunday School class. A longtime realtor, broker and developer in the Memphis area, he was Salesman of the Year several times and instrumental in the property development of Mud Island. He was active in the East Memphis Exchange Club and the Memphis Literacy Council. Cecil retired to Tucson in 1992. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father who will be greatly missed. Scott Richard Tarbell, age 27, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Kristin Tarbell of Nashville, TN; parents, Raymond and Sandra Tarbell of Memphis, TN; brother, Brian Tarbell of Atlanta, GA; and his grandmother, Herma Tarbell of Union City, PA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, at Rosech Patton Chapel from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 29, 2002, at 12:00 Noon, at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 6401 Harding Road, with Rev. Charlie Giacosa, celebrant. DORIS MOORE, 83, formerly of Sarasota, FL, and Seaford, DE, died on September 26, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Miss Moore was a retired nurse. She served with the Third Field Army Hospital in the South Pacific during WWII. She also served in the State Department in Nursing Education Programs in Iran and then in Vietnam. Later she worked in various VA Hospitals in Nursing Administration. She retired as Chief Nurse from the East Orange, NJ, VA Medical Center. Miss Moore is survived by eight nieces and nephews. Her Memphis survivors are Anne and Jim Harrison, Sandra Harrison, Greg Harrison, Glen Harrison, Gary Harrison and Linda Waldron. Burial will take place in Seaford, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church in Memphis or to a charity of the donor's choice.

JOHN BRIDGES 89, of Memphis, TN, retired from Memphis Hardwood, died Wed., September 25, 2002 at his home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sat. at Union Grove Baptist Church in Memphis with burial at Union cemetery in Millington. Mr. Bridges, the husband of Minnie Bridges also leaves a daughter Evelyn V. Townsel, two grandchildren Tamela Flood and Corey Frison, two great-grand children Kennedy Frison and Reginald Flood, one brother and one sister-in-law, Jerry Lee and Marshie Bridges, one son-in-law James Townsel, one grand son-in-law James Flood and three special nieces Ethel Gibson, Louise Gaither and Roberta York, all of Memphis. Lille Johnson Woods, age 50, an IRS Security Technician for 30 years, departed this life Friday, Sept. 20, 2002 at Methodist Central Hospital. She was a 1970 graduate of Douglass High School and a member of Redeemer Baptist Church, where she served as Church Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member and Member of the Steering Committee.

JACK W. SIAR, Age 61, of Tampa, FL, died quietly at home surrounded by family on Friday, September 20, 2002. Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he will be greatly missed after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK, and grew up in Shawnee, OK.
After moving to Mesquite, TX, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. He served as an aviation electronics technician and retired as a Senior Petty Officer after 21 years of service. He began a second career in 1979 with AB Dick/Multigraphics in Tampa. He was the Florida District Service Manager. He was a member of Countryside Christian Center in Clearwater, FL. He enjoyed outdoor activities and was an avid sportsman and hunter. He is survived by his loving family. Beloved wife of 41 years, Louise Siar; son and daughter-in-law Jack, Jr. and Linda Siar and grandchildren, Rebecca and Jacob (Roanoke, VA), daughter and son-in-law, Robin and William Necker, Jr. and grandchildren Reba and William III (Hampton, VA), daughter Kathie Siar (Tampa, FL) and three brothers, Sam Siar (Parker, AZ), David Siar (Plano, TX), and James Siar (Bull Head City, AZ). A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2002, at Memphis Memory Gardens.

WILBURN EDWIN GEORGE, SR., age 76, funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 24 at the St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father John Kirk officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 7 pm., Monday, September 23 at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mr. George died Friday at his home in Tullahoma.
Mr. George was born in Cozahome, Arkansas the son of the late Albert and Gladys Darby George. He retired from Sverdrup in 1988 where he was an Electrical Engineer and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Tullahoma and served on the Board of Directors at the church. Mr. George was also the past president of the Amateur Ham Radio Club, was a member of the Professional Engineer's Society, and the Knights of Columbus. He started the Church Basketball League for Girls, was a Babe Ruth Baseball Coach, was a tutor for the Tullahoma High School football players, and was a student at Motlow State Community College in 1997. Mr. George was the Captain of the Memphis State Football Team from 1948-1949, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was recalled for duty during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Leo George and by a sister, Marie Dozier.
