OBIE VICTOR GRIFFIN, 76, of Memphis, died Saturday at his home. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He was a Navy veteran. He leaves two daughters, Sherrie Blackman and Pam Woolfolk, and two sons, Bruce A. Griffin and Kirby M. Griffin, all of California; his mother, Remell Parker of Memphis, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

IDA ELVIE HOWELL, 89, of Olive Branch, homemaker, died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. CLYDE DOUGLAS KELSO JR., 81, of Memphis, retired sales manager from White Westinghouse Division of White-Consolidated Industries, died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, where he was a member of the Vestry and Stephen's Ministry, with burial in Memorial Park. He was a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Memphis, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, Korean War Air Force veteran and member of Chickasaw Country Club. Mr. Kelso, the husband of Myra Ann Barksdale Kelso, also leaves a son, Clyde Douglas Kelso III of Memphis; two brothers, A. Scott Kelso of Houston and R.
