VIRGINIA MUNROE CAMPBELL, 49, of Miami, formerly of Memphis, died Oct. 6 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 2 at Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel in Miami has charge. She leaves a daughter, Cameron Connors of New York; two sons, Richard Campbell Bankston and Michael Adam Campbell, both of Mississippi; and a sister, Elizabeth Y. Campbell Lewis of Memphis. The family requests that memorials be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

F. G. CHAPPELL, 81, of Earle, Ark., retired farmer, died Sunday at Three Rivers Nursing Center in Marked Tree, Ark. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with burial in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Earle and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Chappell, the widower of Mary Juanita Chappell, leaves a son, Freddie Chappell of Earle; a stepson, Harold Jones of Turrell, Ark.; and two grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Paul Catholic Church, where he was a communicant, with burial in Forest Hill cemetery South. Forest Hill Funeral Home South has charge. He was a Korean War Navy veteran and member of Knights of Columbus and Southaven Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Clynes, the husband of Geraldine 'Jerry' Clynes for 46 years, also leaves a daughter, Teresa Silvestri of Horn Lake; a son, Dennis P. Clynes of Memphis; two sisters, Patricia Schmieding of South Carolina and Mary Ann Kruse of St. Louis; three brothers, John H. Clynes and William Clynes, both of St. Louis, and Robert Clynes of Virginia; and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Paul Catholic Church.

BETTY GLYN BARKSDALE DOYLE, 70, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., formerly of Memphis, teacher, died Sunday at Tennessee Christian Medical Center in Nashville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hermitage (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Doyle, the wife of Rev. Dr. Lloyd Allen Doyle Jr., also leaves a daughter, Sally Eileen Doyle Sharpe of Mt. Juliet; a son, Rev. Dr. Lloyd Allen Doyle III of Waverly, Tenn.; a brother, Joseph Decatur Barksdale of Laurel, Md.; and four grandchildren.
