JAMES ELLIS COCKRELL, 50, of Memphis, employee of the Memphis Zoo, died Wednesday at his home. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Funeral Home. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mr. Cockrell, the husband of Jamie Green Cockrell, also leaves his mother, Billie Worthington Cockrell of Heber Springs, Ark.; three sisters, Brenda Cockrell, Ruth Anne Cockrell Talley and Rita Cockrell Wood, all of Memphis, and a brother, William Allen Cockrell of Heber Springs.
