MARY HARPER MASTERS, 52, of Memphis, unit nurse for Methodist Healthcare, died Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren United Methodist Church with burial in New Park cemetery. Snow Funeral Home has charge. She leaves three sons, Corvell Daniels, Guyoka Bonner and Shawn Masters, all of Memphis; three sisters, Annie Harper and Willie Mae Brown, both of Memphis, and Arine Hardnett of Flint, Mich.; five brothers, Odie Harper, Larry Harper, Kent Harper, Marvin Harper and Wallace Harper, all of Memphis, and five grandchildren.

DORRIS H. MAXWELL, 65, of Memphis, seamstress, died Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a Church of God in Christ gospel singer and member of Moore's Memorial Church of God in Christ. Mrs. Maxwell, the wife of Pastor Samuel Maxwell, also leaves three daughters, Jacqueline Ivery and Sandra Beauregard, both of Memphis, and Juanita Holland of Meridian, Miss.; three sons, Larry Maxwell, Ray Maxwell and Samuel Maxwell II, all of Memphis; three sisters, Mable H. Maxwell of Memphis, Georgia Hudson-Hinds of Greenville, Miss., and Johnnye Maye Pass of Holly Springs, Miss., and 16 grandchildren.

ARTHUR EARL McCASKILL, 77, of Moscow, Tenn., retired from International Harvester after 20 years, retired Moscow postmaster after 23 years and former Shelter insurance agent, died Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Morris Memorial Baptist Church in Moscow with burial in Ebenezer cemetery in Williston, Tenn. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville has charge. He was an Army veteran who received a Purple Heart, and a Baptist. Mr. McCaskill, the husband of Kathryn Sisco McCaskill, also leaves a son, Bobby Ray McCaskill of Somerville, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. HUBER H. MERRIAM, 93, of Memphis, retired secretary and treasurer from Federal Compress Co., died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Memorial Park. He was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church, Scottish and York Rites and Al Chymia Shrine, 32nd degree Mason of DeSoto Lodge 299 and a World War II Army veteran.
