MARIE MASSEY, 84, of Atoka, homemaker, died Tuesday in Southaven. Services will be at noon Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Massey, the widow of Wayne Massey, leaves two sons, Joe Massey of Southaven and Jack Massey of Atoka; a brother, Richard Bennett of Marietta, Miss., six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

MARY LOUISE McCARROLL, 45, of Memphis, died Wednesday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home with burial in New Park cemetery. She leaves a daughter, Stephanie McCarroll, and two sons, Anthony McCarroll and Marquis Garrett, all of Memphis; three sisters, Rosie McCarroll of Jonesboro, Ark., Cathlean Johnson of Memphis and Nancy Huggins of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Andrew Johnson Jr. of Memphis and Harry Lee Stevenson of Augusta, Ga.; a stepbrother, Jerryn McCarroll of Fort Irwin, Calif., and six grandchildren.

He leaves a daughter, Stephanie Ivy of Hernando; two sons, James Medlin Jr. of Little Rock and Jamie Medlin of Hernando; his mother and stepfather, Stella and Glenn Steed of Memphis; four sisters, Betty Sproles, Carolyn Chipman and Barbara Melton, all of Memphis, and Sheryll Dodson of Phoenix; two brothers, Danny Medlin of Indiana and Billy Medlin of Memphis, and three grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to North Frayser Baptist Church.

She was a member of Grays Creek Baptist Church in Hernando and Hernando Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Medlin, the wife of Roy A. Medlin, also leaves two sons, Roy A. Medlin Jr. of Como, Miss., and David Wayne Medlin of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Francis Hendren of Fort Smith, Ark., Hazel Markle of Somerville, Ruby Raymond of Savanna, Ill., and Betty Thompson of Senatobia, Miss.; a brother, Edward Flynn of Fort Smith, and a grandchild.

GRACE EUBANKS MILLER, 93, of Memphis, homemaker, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. She was a member of Oakhaven United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 118. She leaves two daughters, Grace Hickey and Rebecca Beard, both of Memphis, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Porter, the widow of Joseph G. Porter, leaves a daughter, Cheryl E. Gillenwater of Southaven; a son, Michael H. Porter of Arlington; a sister, Mary Hamrick George of Seal Beach, Calif., and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
