LENA IRENE THOMPSON, 91, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Rector, Ark., homemaker, died Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with burial in Woodland Heights cemetery there. Mrs. Thompson, the widow of Raymond Thompson, leaves local survivors including a daughter, Jo Ann Chapman of Memphis; a son, Randal Thompson of Germantown, and four grandchildren.

MARY J. BARNARD, 64, of Millington, retired secretary for the Navy Exchange, died Sunday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Mrs. Barnard, the widow of Frank Leighton and wife of Jack Barnard, also leaves two daughters, Linda Simmons of Millington and Laura Stratton of Atoka; a stepdaughter, Debbie Tillson of Nebraska; a stepson, Scott Barnard of Colorado Springs; seven sisters, Virginia Walpoe and Geraldine Giles, both of Seattle, Gertrude Stone of Hollywood, Calif., Dorothy Matthews of California, Ellie Monahan of Yerington, Nev., Patricia Rusher of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Shirley Bechtel of San Diego; two brothers, Arthur Brown of Carlsbad, Calif., and Robert Brown of California, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

MAGGIE N. BENSON, 92, of Memphis, homemaker, died Sunday at Delta Medical Center. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. She leaves a daughter, Dorothy Bass, and a son, Thomas Williams, both of Memphis, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

CLEMMIESTEAN BORNER, 69, of Memphis, retired cafeteria employee from Memphis City Schools, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of St. John AME Church. Mrs. Borner, the wife of David Lee Borner, also leaves six daughters, Mary Borner, Rita Davis, Edna Hood, Nita Sue Borner, Shelia Green and Demetrious Borner, and four sons, Ricky Lynn Borner, Barry Borner, Stanley Borner and Ray Anthony Borner, all of Memphis, 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

PEDRO C. CABIGAO, 81, of Memphis and the Philippines, retired attorney, died Monday at Saint Francis Hospital. Memorial Park Funeral Home has local charge. He was a World War II Army veteran and communicant of St. Peter Catholic Church. Mr. Cabigao, the husband of Crescencia C. Cabigao, also leaves three daughters, Marilou Suarez of Toronto, Anne Begonia of New York and Carmen Gotladera of the Philippines; three sons, Dr. Edwardo Cabigao of Memphis, Miguel Cabigao of Toronto and Joseph Cabigao of the Philippines, and 17 grandchildren.

ARIEL EMILIE COYNE, 2-month-old daughter of Kristen M. H. and Thomas P. Coyne Jr. of Millington, died Sunday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. She also leaves two sisters, Hannah M. Coyne and Kelly S. Coyne, and two brothers, Thomas P. Coyne III and Timothy K. Coyne, all of Millington, and her grandparents, Thomas P. Coyne and Hertha E. Coyne of Fayetteville, N.C., and Christen B. Henrichsen and Gail G. Henrichsen of Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Ayers, and three sons, Edward Kelly, Robert Caldwell Jr. and Ricky Caldwell, all of Memphis; seven sisters, Verma Wilson of Chicago, Verda Hubbard, Vivian Adams, Herman Phillips, and Ernestine Green, Eva Hawkins and Verniece Harris, all of Memphis; two brothers, Newton Browley of Chicago and Elbert Browley of Memphis, 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dennis, the husband of Patsy Mae Ferguson Dennis, also leaves three daughters, Rebecca Dennis and Joshlyn Dennis, both of Columbia, Mo., and Lawanda Dennis of Hernando; two sons, Junior Thomas and Carl Lee Thomas, both of Hernando, and nine grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church choir and administrative board and recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Grantham, the husband of Nannette M. Grantham for 48 years, also leaves three daughters, Laura Cantrell and Lanita Jackson, both of Bartlett, and Lisa Bell of Memphis; two brothers, Thomas DeWayne Grantham of Hornsby, Tenn., and Bob J. Grantham of Memphis, and four grandsons. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Matthew's United Methodist Church.
