SAMMIE LEE JAMISON, 63, of Memphis, tape machine operator for Disney, died Friday at Delta Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Southaven with burial in the church cemetery. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. He was a member of LTD Social Club. He leaves a sister, Maggie King of Memphis, and four brothers, Cornelius Kyles, Roosevelt Jamison and John Eddie Gray, all of Memphis, and A. C. Jamison.

VELMA JOHNSON, 84, of Detroit, formerly of Memphis, retired seamstress, died Sunday at Beverly Hill Nursing Home in Royal Oak, Mich. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a niece who cared for her, Shirley McKinney of Memphis.

GEORGE H. JONES, 92, of Memphis, retired from Cargill Co., died Saturday at Methodist Healthcare-North. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He leaves two daughters, Donna L. Potts of Memphis and Christine Thornton of Chicago; two sons, Charles H. Jones of Memphis and Donald Jones of Minneapolis, a grandchild and 12 great-grandchildren.

WILLIE JOE LEAKE, 62, of Memphis, retired from the Shelby County Road Department, died Saturday at Methodist Healthcare-South. M. J. Edwards and Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. He was a Mason. Mr. Leake, the husband of Ruthie Leake, also leaves five daughters, Tonya Leake, Dorothy Coburn, Thernice Herndon, Gloria Freeman, and Jill Reid, all of Memphis; two sons, Eric Carter and Derrick Carter, both of Milwaukee; three stepdaughters, Pamela Robinson-McCoy of Kenosha, Wis., and Aundrell Whitelow-Mallett and Sharon Malone-Wilburn, both of Memphis; his mother, Arnea B. Leake of Memphis; four sisters; five brothers and two additional brothers, Bobby Gene Allen of Memphis and Richard Leake of Arkansas, 26 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lee, the widow of Harold E. Lee, leaves three sons, John Lee of Vidor, Texas, and Robert Lee and Larry Lee, both of Byhalia, Miss.; a sister, Edna Corder of Grenada; two brothers, James Smith of Coffeeville, Miss., and Billy Smith of Grenada, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Livingston, the widow of Cleveland Livingston, leaves two daughters, Elsie Marsh and Joyce L. Adams, both of Walls; two sisters, Lula Holloway of Lampasas, Texas, and Rudell Turner of Rondo, Ark.; a brother, Henry Hollowell of Victoria, Miss., eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was former title officer, vice president, general counsel and secretary for Mid-South Title Insurance Co., a graduate of Southern Law University, a World War II veteran, former president of White Station Civic, Memphis Exchange Club and Tennessee Land Title Association, where he was also a member, former Master of DeSoto Lodge 299 Free & Accepted Masons, member of American Legion Post 1, Scottish Rite, Al Chymia Shrine Temple, Second Presbyterian Church, Tennessee and Memphis bar associations and Colonial Country Club, and volunteer for Shelby United Neighbors, American Red Cross and American Cancer Society. Mr. Meyer, the husband of Iris Pursell Meyer for 52 years, also leaves a brother, Ernest J. Meyer of Fremont, Calif. The family requests that memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.

He was a graduate of Humes High School, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a deacon of Raleigh Baptist Church. Mr. Proctor, the husband of Winifred McKnatt Proctor, also leaves three sons, Phillip Ross Proctor and Cory Brian Proctor, both of Bartlett, and Kevin Bruce Proctor of Munford; a sister, Eula Ruth Williams of Memphis, and eight grandchildren.
