LINDEN A. WEBB, 82, of Bartlett, retired employee of Mid-South Chemical Corp. and Agrico Chemical Co., died Sunday at his home after a stroke. He graduated in 1940 from Texas A & M and served in World War II and the Korean War. EARL P. BOWERMAN, 93, of Memphis, retired physician, died of heart failure Friday at his home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday during worship service at Lindenwood Christian Church, where he was a member, with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery in Nashville at a later date. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a member of American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association and Memphis Medical Association. He attended University of Rochester where he was Phi Beta Kappa, attended Strong Medical School, served residency at Vanderbilt University and had special training in treating tuberculosis at Bellevue in New York. He then attended John Hopkins where he was a founders medalist in his class. He was former director of West Tennessee Tuberculosis Hospital and later the state director. Mr. Bowerman, the husband of Emma K. Bowerman, also leaves three sisters, Marian Laughlin, Grace Allen and Florence Padgham, and two brothers, Bruce Bowerman and Charles Bowerman, all of Victor, N.Y.
