SARAH G. MULLINS QUINLEY, 73, of Covington, retired corporate secretary for Mays Howard Lumber Co., died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Covington First United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer, with burial in R. H. Munford cemetery in Covington. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington has charge. She was a state officer for the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 316, treasurer for Byars Hall High School Class of 1946 and was a member of Covington Garden Club and Covington Bridge Club. Mrs. Quinley, the widow of Reese Mullins and the wife of Earl Quinley, also leaves three daughters, Suzanne M. German of Dresden, Tenn., and Charlotte Quinley and Deborah David, both of Covington; a son, Walter Mullins of Covington; four sisters, Alcia Baum, Katie Lou Cates, Linnie Lord and Brenda Roberts, all of Covington; four brothers, Richard Gay of Shreveport, La., and Bobby Gay, Max Gay and Hughes Gay, all of Covington, and three grandchildren. JANE GILFILLAN TYSON, 83, of Memphis, homemaker, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. She was a charter member of Thalia Circle of the King's Daughters. Mrs. Tyson, the wife of Dr. William T. Tyson Jr. for 60 years, also leaves a daughter, Lynn Sherrod Tyson; a son, William T.
