MINNIE PEARL ROLLEN, 47, of Memphis, died Wednesday at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Tanya Washington of Memphis; her parents, Pearlean Rollen of St. Louis and Rosevelt Rollen Jr. of Memphis; four sisters, Rosie Culp and Barbara Rollen, both of Memphis, Pamela Morris of St. Louis and Caroline Shaw of Olive Branch; four brothers, Rosevelt Rollen III and Stevelt Rollen, both of Memphis, Leroy Rollen of Durham and Paul Rollen of St. Louis, and her grandparents, Oneal Clay of Memphis and Willie E. Hudson of Greenwood, Miss.

VINCENT SCOTT SHELBY, 66, of Memphis, retired from the Navy, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was a member of Schoolfield Methodist Church. Mr. Shelby, the husband of Norma Shelby, also leaves a daughter, Pam Bryant, and a son, David Shelby, both of Memphis; a sister, Linda Weckesser of Flippin, Ark., and two granddaughters. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

RONALD EARL SIMMONS, 54, of Memphis and Mississippi, retired electrician, died Tuesday at his home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Temple Israel cemetery. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He was a member of Temple Israel and IBEW Local 474 and a Navy veteran. Mr. Simmons, the husband of Anita Hays Simmons, also leaves three daughters, Amy Cumberland of Saulsberry, Tenn., Stephanie S. Tickle of Oakland, Tenn., and Margaret Simmons of Memphis; two sons, Richie Simmons of Oakland and Robert Simmons of Saulsberry; a sister, Diane S. Smith of Horn Lake; a brother, Bobby Simmons of Killeen, Texas, and four grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.

MAURICE N. STURDIVANT, 71, of Memphis, retired from Methodist Healthcare, died Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Snow Funeral Home with burial in Easthaven cemetery. Mr. Sturdivant, the widower of Gladys Sturdivant, leaves a son, Marvin Sturdivant, and an aunt who cared for him, Elizabeth Turner, both of Memphis, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

EUGENE C. WEBSTER, 60, of Reeds Spring, Mo., formerly of Memphis, retired machine operator from Kimberly-Clark, died Monday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Northridge/Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington with burial in Northridge/Woodhaven cemetery. He was a member of Tri-Lakes Cathedral in Branson, Mo. Mr. Webster, the husband of Shirley Webster, also leaves a daughter, Sherrel Jones of Southaven; two sons, John David Ford of Reeds Spring and Robert Michael Ford of Southaven, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

DOROTHY MAE WHEELER, 70, of 1952 Philsar, Apt. 4, retired pastry maker from Goldsmith's Department Store, died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Whitestone Baptist Church, where she was a member of No. 1 Usher Board and president of March Fellowship Club, with burial in Galilee Memorial Gardens. Golden Gate Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Wheeler, the wife of Clarence Wheeler, also leaves a daughter, Peggy A. Wheeler; a son, Willie B. Martin; two sisters, Mable Green and Leona Jackson, and four brothers, Harvey Martin, Foster Martin, Roosevelt Martin and Sam Martin Jr., all of Memphis, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

FESTUS WIGGINS, 85, of Millington, retired welder from Sandusky Cabinet Co., died Monday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington, where he was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Jefferson Mortuary in Millington has charge. He was a member of Jacob Lodge 197. Mr. Wiggins, the husband of Grace Wiggins, also leaves a daughter, May Wiggins of Millington; a son, John Lester Wiggins of Atlanta; a stepson, Robert L. Young of Bridgeport, Conn.; a brother, Samuel Wiggins of Memphis, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

VIRGIL H. WILDER, 87, of Millington, director of Al Chymia Shrine Circus, died Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and member of Angerona Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Al Chymia Shrine and Bartlett United Methodist Church. Mr. Wilder, the widower of Louise M. Wilder, leaves a friend and caregiver, Pat Roberts of Millington. The family requests that memorials be sent to Shrine Children's Hospital.

She was a Methodist and a member of the Kosmos Club in Chattanooga. She leaves a son, James W. Bass III of Chattanooga, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
