Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, where he was a communicant, with burial in Calvary. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Pesce, the husband of Mamie Vescovi Pesce for 61 years, also leaves two daughters, Elizabeth Pesce Tartt of Memphis and Carolyn Pesce Keane of Bartlett; a sister, Mary Ventrini of Memphis; a brother, Felix Pesce of Bartlett, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. CHARLES L. PFEIFFER, 75, of Germantown, retired safety engineer and boiler inspector from Royal Globe Insurance Co., died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and a Korean War Navy Sea Bee veteran.
