SUSIE B. WALLACE JOHNSON, 82, of Collierville, homemaker, died of heart failure Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Services will be at noon Monday at Springhill Baptist Church in Moscow, Tenn., with burial in the church cemetery there. H. C. Jett Funeral Home in Collierville has charge. Mrs. Johnson, the widow of Sam Johnson, leaves seven daughters, Lavern Wright of Collierville, Lula B. Lindsey of Moscow, and Mary Smith, Betty Marshall, Susie Morton, Hattie Malone and Nila Johnson, all of Flint, Mich.; three sons, Earnest Johnson and Terry Lee Johnson, both of Flint, and Ezell Johnson of Memphis; a stepson, J. W. Johnson of Memphis, 54 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

ARVIN KEE, 90, of Somerville, retired farmer and former employee of Troxel Manufacturing Co., died of heart failure Wednesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville with burial in Evergreen cemetery in Williston, Tenn. He was a member of Somerville First Baptist Church. Mr. Kee, the widower of Hester Lucille White Kee, leaves four daughters, Millie Brown and Inez Simmons, both of Somerville, Janice Mount of Henderson, Tenn., and Julia Laney of Bolivar, Tenn.; four sons, R. C. Kee of Somerville, Floyd Kee of Bolivar, Roger Kee of Hickory Valley, Tenn., and Richard Kee of Grand Junction, Tenn.; three sisters, Opal Hamm of Oakland, and Sarah Bell Hoskins and Frances Shubert, both of Somerville; a brother, Charlie Kee of Somerville, 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society Fayette County Chapter.

ANNA BASKERVILLE LEWIS, 71, of Memphis, former employee of Memphis City Schools, died of heart failure Thursday at her home. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Hunter Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Lewis, the wife of Clarence Lewis, also leaves a daughter, Emily Lewis, and four sisters, Shirley Williams, Willie White, Josephine Baskerville and Alberta Bean, all of Memphis, and a brother, Joseph Baskerville of Bellwood, Ill.

ELLA CAROTHERS MALONE, 91, of Cordova, bursar for the University of Tennessee, died of heart failure Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Memphis Memory Gardens. Family Funeral Care Summer Avenue Chapel has charge. Mrs. Malone, the widow of Rudy Malone, leaves a daughter, Shirley Fritsche of Cordova, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.

MARY ELIZABETH MAULDIN, 80, of Memphis, retired from IRS Labor Relations and a published writer, died of heart failure Wednesday at her home. Services will be at noon Saturday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum. She was a member of Mid-South Writers Association and Heritage Presbyterian Church, where she was the children's choir director. Mrs. Mauldin, the widow of Douglas A. Mauldin, leaves a daughter, Joan Elizabeth Hurst of Alexandria, Va.; a son, Stephen Douglas Mauldin of Southaven; a sister, Fannye Pritchard of Olive Branch, and a granddaughter.

ORA LEE MILLER, 84, of Proctor, Ark., homemaker, died of heart failure Saturday at her home. Services will be at noon Saturday at Anthony Funeral Home in West Memphis Chapel North with burial in Paradise Garden in Edmondson, Ark. She leaves four daughters, Annie Lee Leflore of Virginia, Addie Joyce and Sarah Miller, both of Proctor, and Jessie Dorse of Memphis; four sons, George Miller of West Memphis, Mack Brown and Rev. Sam Miller, both of Proctor, and John Henry Miller of Hughes, Ark., 68 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

BESSIE ODELL NELMS, 85, of Mason, Tenn., homemaker, died of heart failure Thursday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Nelms, the widow of Coleman Nelms, leaves a daughter, Ann Nelms Brinley of Medina, Tenn.; a son, John Henry Nelms of Mason, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She leaves four daughters, Andrea Jamerson, Tampera Mack, Cheron Rogers and Regina Isaac, and a sister, Henrietta Martin, all of Memphis; three brothers, Andre Rogers and Willie Rogers, both of Memphis, and Will B. Rogers of Atlanta, and seven grandchildren.

REBECCA FERN SIMPSON, 66, of Memphis, retired from Thompson-Formby Inc., died of cancer Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Simpson, the wife of Kelley Simpson for 47 years, also leaves three daughters, Becky Hundley, Kelley Moore and Kim January, all of Memphis; a sister, Joyce Mauldin of Alton, Mo.; a brother, Jim Crass of Thayer, Mo., and four grandchildren. BRYANT F. VAUGHAN, 79, of Memphis, retired medical technician for Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died of cancer Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Methodist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a World War II Army Medical Corps veteran and past president of East Memphis Lions Club. Mr. Vaughan, the husband of Blanche T. Vaughan for 58 years, also leaves three daughters, Pamela V. Guyton of Auburn, Ala., Patricia V. Trobaugh of Atlanta and Cindy V. Parks of Bartlett; two brothers, Darwin Vaughan of Memphis and Dr. Curtis Vaughan of Fort Worth, Texas, and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Luke's Methodist Church.

Mrs. Weaver, the widow of Jefferson Burns Weaver, leaves a son, Richard Weaver of Cordova, and a sister, Doris Hemenway of Memphis.
