Mr. Smith, the husband of Katie Smith, also leaves two daughters, Phyllis Hunt and Paula Plunkett, and seven sons, Calvin Hunt, Anthony Hunt, Melvin Hunt, Michael Hunt, Larry Hunt, Barry Hunt and Rodney Hunt, all of Memphis; three sisters, Lillie King and Della Fleming, both of Memphis, and Cora Brenson of Los Angeles; three brothers, John Morgan and James Morgan, both of Los Angeles, and Curtis Morgan of Jackson, Miss., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
