DELMA STONE VANCE, 98, of Memphis, died of pneumonia Monday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at noon Friday at Bartlett Funeral Home Bartlett Station Chapel with burial in Christian Rest cemetery in Etta, Miss. Mrs. Vance, the widow of Robert W. Vance, leaves two daughters, Minnie Pearl Smith and Corrine Vance, both of Memphis; a sister, Ann Stone Carter of Olive Branch, two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

SHIRLEY H. WILLIAMS, 80, of Germantown, retired supervisor for the old defense depot, died of heart failure Monday in Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with a graveside service at noon Friday at Rutledge-Salem cemetery in Iuka, Miss. She was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams, the widow of James C. AMERICA 'TAD' WILSON, 92, of Memphis, homemaker, died of heart failure Saturday at Methodist Healthcare-Central. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at S. W. She leaves eight sisters, Hattie Robinson, Stella Harris, Fannie Wilson, Christine Brooks and Anita Jackson, all of Crawford, Miss., Emma Lou King of East St. Louis, Ill., Mattie Solvie of Chicago and Mary Hart of St. Louis, and six brothers, Johnnie Wilson of St. Louis, Robert Wilson of Memphis, Willie Williams and Lonnie Williams, both of Crawford, Dave Wilson of Chicago and James Jones of Youngstown, Ohio.
