Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hernando Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Zion cemetery in Independence, Miss. WANDA T. GRAVES, 55, of Memphis, retired office manager, died of cancer Saturday at American Transitional Care. CARL EDWARD HINTON, 69, of Memphis, retired from Baron Hirsch Synagogue, died of heart failure Wednesday at the Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Keel Avenue Missionary Baptist Church with burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Southern Funeral Home has charge. ROBBIE FERGUSON SHORT, 97, of Covington, La., formerly of Memphis, retired medical secretary for Tennessee Health Department, died of heart failure Friday at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. LAWRENCE ARDEAN TVEDT Jr., 72, of Memphis, engineer and former construction worker for the L. A. Tvedt Construction Co., died of cancer Saturday at his home. His body was donated to the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He was a member of the Engineers Club of Memphis, the Big Ten Club and served in Japan during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Purdue University. Mr. Tvedt, the husband of Virginia Tvedt, also leaves a stepdaughter, Cathy Goodwin of Tuscumbia, Ala.; a stepson, Jim Long of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; a brother, Bob Tvedt of Memphis, five stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
