WARREN LEONARD PERKINS, 80, of Memphis, retired from Kraft Corp., died of cancer Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home Bartlett Station Chapel has charge. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Perkins, the husband of Lucille W. Perkins for 60 years, also leaves a daughter, Francelyn P. Bryson, and a son, Terry L. Perkins, both of Memphis, and two grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Gideons or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

PEGGY A. RHYMES, 57, of Cordova, teacher, died of cancer Tuesday at Cordova Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Florence (S.C.) First Assembly of God Church with burial in Florence National cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home Bartlett Station Chapel has charge. She was a Navy veteran. Mrs. Rhymes, the wife of Richard Rhymes of Columbia, Ky., also leaves two daughters, Roberta Albright of Roachdale, Ind., and Teresa Dirks of Pittsburg, Calif.; three sisters, Patricia D. Simpson of Marietta, Ga., and Eleanor Hagen and Gayle Gaye, both of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Felix A. Glisson of Dahlonega, Ga., John M. Glisson of Sumter, S.C., and Jim Glisson of Cordova, and four grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

INEDA RICHARDSON, 73, of 1976 Quinn, homemaker, died of heart failure Wednesday at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vance Avenue Holiness Church of God in Christ with burial in Enon Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Hernando. E.H. Ford Mortuary Services has charge. Mrs. Richardson, the widow of Freddie Richardson, leaves eight daughters, Melva Brittman, Irene Jackson, Helen Becton, Mablelean Hurd, Carolyn Harden, Willie Gwen Smith and La Shun Newbern, all of Memphis, and Freddie Clariette of Akron, Ohio; a son, Chester Richardson of Akron; two sisters, Robbie Leake of Hernando and Foster Johnson of Memphis; a brother, Massey Miller of Hernando, 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

JOHN B. ROSE, 72, of Drummonds, retired truck driver, died of heart failure Friday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Poplar Grove Assembly of God with burial in Helen Crigger cemetery. Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home has charge. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Rose, the husband of Virginia Davis Rose, also leaves two sons, John B. Rose Jr. of Quito, Tenn., and Terry D. Rose of Brighton; two sisters, Darcus Roberson and Juanita Suggs, both of Memphis; three brothers, Jesse Rose and Gene Rose, both of Drummonds, and Larry Rose of Hopewell, and a granddaughter.

LOUISE McCANDLESS SHELNUT, 90, of Memphis, retired from Federal Meat Co., died of heart failure Friday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. She was a charter member, member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, past state president of the Women's Missionary Union and member of the Golden Agers at Ridgeway Baptist Church. Mrs. Shelnut, the widow of Lloyd Shelnut, leaves a daughter, Bettye Grisanti of Dacula, Ga.; two sisters, Frankie Ledbetter and Mable Beal, both of Memphis, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Ridgeway Baptist Church.

MARY MARTHA SUMMERHILL, 77, of Memphis, homemaker, died of cancer Wednesday at her home. Bartlett Funeral Home Bartlett Station Chapel has charge. Mrs. Summerhill, the wife of Herman William Summerhill for 60 years, also leaves a daughter, Gayle Cook, and four sons, Gene Summerhill, James Summerhill, Clayton Summerhill and Wayne Summerhill, all of Memphis; a sister, Virginia Gonzalies of Kingman, Ariz., 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams, the widow of Raymond Williams, leaves two sisters, Frances Maharrey of Brownsville and Eleanor Sage of Millington. CHARLES HAROLD WILSON, 67, of Covington, construction carpenter, died of respiratory failure Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton in Covington. He was of the Assembly of God faith, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7175. Mr. Wilson, the husband of Mary Arnell Crowder Wilson, also leaves a daughter, Ross Arnell Holland of Brighton; a son, Charles Aaron Wilson, and a stepdaughter, Mary Angela Adams, both of Covington; three sisters, Mamie Howell, Hazel Kuykendall and Shelby Moss, all of Munford, and eight grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church and the Thursday morning Community Bible Class. Mrs. Woolley, the wife of Walter W. Woolley for 56 years, also leaves a daughter, Wendy Willene Alexander of Olive Branch; a sister, Juanita Hill of Southaven; four brothers, Felix Wilson, Elbert Wilson and Gerald Wilson, all of Mississippi, and J. D. Wilson of Mobile, Ala., and two grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Shriners Crippled Children's Transportation Fund or St. Timothy United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Holly Springs Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest cemetery. She was a member of Holly Springs Presbyterian Church, former president of the Pilot Club and a Rotarian. Mrs. Jones, the widow of Mahon Elton Jones, leaves local survivors including a son, Mahon Elton Jones Jr. of Memphis.

Mrs. Newsom, the widow of Clark Newsom, leaves local survivors including a son, David C. Newsom of Germantown, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Vail of Memphis and Luvenia Harris of Atlanta; two sons, Willie Harris and Odell Harris, both of Pompano, Fla., 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
