REV. CASPER A. WILSON JR., 67, of Marked Tree, Ark., pastor of New Hope Baptist Church for 40 years and retired from Local Union 90 in Memphis, died of heart failure Friday at the Regional Medical Center of Northeast Arkansas in Jonesboro. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church in Tyronza with burial in Tyronza cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree has charge. Rev. Wilson, the husband of Norma Wilson, also leaves local survivors including a sister, Joyce Smith, and a brother, Frank Wilson, both of Memphis, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

VIVIAN MOORE BARBER, 62, of Memphis, retired medical transcriber for Baptist Memorial Hospital, died of heart failure Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-Central. BRYANT BLAYLOCK, 81, of Bartlett, retired iron worker for Local 167 after 50 years, died of congestive heart failure Friday at his home. Services will be at noon Monday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Blaylock, the husband of Opal C. Blaylock for 48 years, also leaves a daughter, Gloria Tuminello of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Michael Bryant Blaylock of Ellendale, Tenn., and Walter L. Blaylock of Bartlett; a sister, Nan Mary Bowles of Cape Girardeau, Mo., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Koon Kreek Club, the Citizen's Council and the Chamber of Commerce, was a former president of the United Way, served as a board member for Southwestern Medical School, Junior Achievement and Republic Bank, served as president of the State Fair of Texas for five years and was a World War II Army veteran who received the Bronze Star. Mr. Davies, the husband of Mildred Musselwhite Davies for 66 years, also leaves three daughters, Carolyn Davies Perry of Rusk, Donna S. Davies of Los Angeles and Debra A. St. Cyr of Denton, Texas; a son, Alfred Ingram Davies Jr. of Austin, Texas, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
