Mr. Briley died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at her residence.
A native of Davidson County, she was born May 24, 1939, the daughter of Johnny Jones and Ruby Audrey Diuguid Jones. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Woodard and Pamela Whittemore of Cottontown; two sons, Steve Briley of Cottontown and Larry Briley of Portland; three sisters, Joyce Russell of Goodletsville, Judy Keene of Gallatin and Audrey Moss of Madison; one brother, Boyd Jones of Ashland City; and seven grandchildren.
Oscar Olson
Services for Oscar Olson, 75, of Gallatin are 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2001 (today) from Newby Funeral Home with burial at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Olson died Tuesday, May 1, 2001.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Harlie McCoin

Mr. McCoin died Thursday, May 3, at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

A native of Sumner County, he was born Oct. 16, 1918, the son of Andrew Timothy McCoin and Byrd Carnahan McCoin. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Eula K. Fleming McCoin; a daughter, Joyce (Larry) Lehman of Portland; a granddaughter, Gretchen (Doug) Stephens of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.

Raymond Sutton

Friends will serve as pallbearers, and interment will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Mr. Sutton died May 8, 2001 at Skyline Medical Center. He served as pastor for the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Gallatin for more than 30 years, and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Allen Sutton. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Billie Ruth Sutton; a son, Michael (Dale) Sutton, both of Nashville; daughter-in-law, Nancy Sutton of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Michael and Heather Sutton, both of Nashville; a brother, David Sutton of Gallatin.

He was the son of the late James David and Lee Burns Garrett, and was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Estelle Bowles Garrett, and sister, Ruth Vence.
Mr. Garrett was the recipient of a Purple Heart and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by a nephew, Zachary Ferguson; a niece, Tommie Bowles, a sister, Jessie Hall, all of Gallatin; and a sister, Dorothy Phillips of Alamo, Texas.
