MILAN - James Edward Byrd, 87, retired Ford Motor Co. employee, died Saturday at Humboldt General Hospital. Services were Monday at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Oakhaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Byrd, the husband of Allie B. Byrd, also leaves a brother, Bobby Eugene Byrd of Pickett, AR and a sister, Betty Garvey of Alamo. Memorials may be sent to Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
