Henry Dietz, 74, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 at his residence.
He was a retired factory worker and attended McCullough Chapel Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Dietz; a daughter, Ann Ruwoldt of Saint Marys, Ohio; a son, Gary Dietz of Coldwater, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Linda Berry and Beverly Lewellyn, both of Dyersburg; four stepsons, Jeff Ward of Benton, Ill., Albert Ward and Paul Ward, both of Dyersburg and John Ward of Newbern; three sisters, Mary Heinfelt of New Breman, Ohio, Delores Weinstock of Anna, Ohio and Betty Lovett of Indian Lake, Ohio; two brothers, Bernard Dietz of New Breman, Ohio and Don Dietz of Salina, Ohio; four grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was an attorney, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, member and past president of Board of Directors for Calvary Rescue Mission, a member of the Varity Club Tent 20, a member of and past president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Tennessee National Guard for 14 years, graduated from the University of Tennessee with law degree, graduated of formerly of Memphis State College with a bachelor of science degree, member and president of Memphis Trial Lawyers Association, a member of American Trial Lawyers Association, member of Memphis Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association and president of Moody Properties Inc.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home-Germantown Parkway chapel. Burial will be in Memphis Memory Garden.

She was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, chairman of the annual bazaar and served on the Altar Guild, member of Good Earth Garden Club, Dyersburg Art League, West Tennessee Women's Golf Association and North West Tennessee Porcelain Art Guild. She held ceramic classes in her home several times a week and actively supported the art and china painting exhibits in the Dyer County Fair each year.
