William B. "Bill" Ross, 54, of Powder Springs, Ga., formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002 in Georgia.
He was a Shriner, a Mason, past worshipful master, a member of Royal Arch and was voted high priest in 2002.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Phillip Cook and the Rev. Wade Cox officiating. J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Louise Ross and Jennifer Ross, both of Florida; a son, Billy Larkins of Virginia; his mother, Louise Ross of Dyersburg; two sisters, Betty Lynn Collier of Savannah and Peggy Moore of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Lauren Larkins and Bethany Larkins.

Victor "Vic" Seaton, 48, of Finley, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at Methodist LeBonheu Healthcare- Jackson Hospital.
He was a employee of the street department for the City of Dyersburg and a member of Northside Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. today at Northside Church of Christ with Tim Henderson and Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Coolidge "Cal" Taylor, 75, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center.
He was an employee of Colonial Rubber Works and a member of Northside Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely with Brother R.M. Palmer officiating.

The family will receive visitors at 2-3 p.m. Saturday at J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home.

She was a retired employee of Schlesinger Ladies Clothing and a member of the Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery with Rick Gant and Mike Radcliff officiating. J. W. Curry & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors today at 5:30 p.m. in the Ridgely chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with the Rev. Tim Nichols and the Rev. Buddy Grizzle officiating.

Ray Franklin Stover, 63, of Tiptonville, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 at his residence. He was a retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a member of the Trimble Church of Christ. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Hornbeak City Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Stewart officiating. Dyersburg Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by a sister, Sue  Jackson of Newbern, and her husband Charles; two nieces and three great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Plesie and Lillie Mae Stover; and two brothers, Lloyd Wayne Stover and Ralph T. Stover. Pallbearers include Gary Easterwood, Bubba Johnson, Almous Austin, Kenny Strain, Jeff Decker and James Powell.

Survivors include her husband, William "Dinker" Mayfield of Alamo; two daughters, Kristin Mayfield and Katilyn Mayfield, both of Alamo; her father, Ed Gruggett of Friendship; her mother, Glenda Gruggett of Dyersburg; and two sisters, Donna Hay of Dyersburg and Deborah Sipes of Gadsden.

Finis "Hoghead" Glisson, 63, of Newbern, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 at Oakwood Manor in Dyersburg. He was a retired employee of Heckethorn Manufacturing. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner and the Rev. Bob Ozment officiating. Burial was in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Glisson of Newbern; a daughter, Carol Millner of Newbern; a son, Terry Glisson of Finley; five sisters, Betty Pugh and Billie Moody, both of Newbern, Reba Anderson of Dyersburg, Lucille Matlock of Brownsville and Sandra Miller of Union City; two brothers, James Glisson of Dyersburg and William Glisson of Union City; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Bertha Alford Glisson; and two children, Karen Glisson and Jackey Glisson. Pallbearers were Kevin Boyd, Timmy Boyd, Paul Bramlett, Ricky Brooks, Danny Pilgrim, Donald Pugh and Roy Pugh.

He was a lifelong resident of Tiptonville and a retired self-employed businessman, a member of First United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Tennessee National Guard, served as Lake County circuit court clerk, county executive, and was a member of the Circuit Court Clerk Association, State County Clerk Association, JTPA, Private Industrial Council, American Legion, VFW, Kiwanis and Jaycees.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors today from 6-9 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville.
