Betty Fuqua
MILAN-Betty Meadows Fuqua, 75, retired MAAP employee, died Wednesday at her home. Services were Saturday at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Milan, and a 1948 graduate of Milan High School. Mrs. Fuqua, the widow of L.P. “Buck” Fuqua, leaves a son, Michael N. Oney of Milan and two granddaughters, Amanda Jane Oney and Lea Beth Oney. She was preceded in death by a brother, Newlon Lee Meadows Jr. and a sister, Lu Wagster. Pallbearers were Donnie Glenn, Tim Haney, Tim Jackson, Tim Crocker, Lynn Arnold and Dale Burns. Memorials may be sent to Caris Healthcare, 5120 Telecom Drive, Milan, TN.

Glen Ing
MILAN-Glen Ing, 76, retired Foamex employee, died Friday at his home. Services were Sunday at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and former chief of the Moore's Chapel Fire Dept. Mr. Ing, the husband of Beth Coleman Ing, also leaves two sons, Keith Ing and Bruce Ing, a daughter, Mary Ann Kelley and two brothers, Rodney Ing and Max Ing, all of Milan; five grandchildren, Cullen Ing, Clint Ing, Christopher Ing, Damon Ing and Erin Kelley and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Glen Ing. Memorials may be sent to the Chapel Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, Milan, TN 38358.

Gladys Dedmon
Milan, TN - Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Dedmon, age 95, were Monday, December 19, at Bodkin Funeral Home with Michael Moore and Robert Lambert officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
Mrs. Dedmon died Thursday, December 15, at Milan General Hospital. She was born December 2, 1910 to Aubrey Dow and Norva Hutcheson Bledsoe. She had lived in Milan since 1929 and was a retired Bookkeeper for Milan Box Corp. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ where she was very active in mission work. She was a charter member of the Freed-Hardeman University Associates.
Mrs. Dedmon was preceded in death by her husband James F. Dedmon. She is survived by one son, James D. Dedmon of Milan; two daughters, Margaret D. Penny of Trezevant, and Glenda D. Curtis of Tampa, Florida; four brothers, Harvey Bledsoe of Milan, Willis Bledsoe of Fairview, Douglas Bledsoe of Dickson, and Henry Bledsoe of Bon Aqua, one sister, Aladee Brown of Bon Aqua; either grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Disaster Relief Fund, C/O Atwood Church of Christ, Atwood, TN 38220.

MEMPHIS-Thelma Louise Flowers, 79, homemaker, died December 12, at Select Specialty Hospital in Memphis. Services were December 14, at Hunt Funeral Home with burial in Bradford Cemetery. She was a member of Leaclair Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Flowers, the wife of Herbert Flowers, also leaves a daughter, Karen Hudson of MS; a son, Kerry Flowers of Memphis; a sister, Bertie Sellers of Bradford and a grandson.

Ms. Galey, the widow of Harry Galey, leaves a son, Pete Ballington of Lavinia; a step-son, Joe Thomas Galey of Huntsville, AL, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Flippin. Memorials may be sent to Lebonheur Children's Medical Center, Memphis, TN.

Ludell McAuley
HUNTINGDON-Ludell McAuley, 93, died Monday at Milan General Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jamison Cemetery. Elder Dennie Abernathy and Elder T.L. Webb will officiate. Mrs. McAuley was born November 17, 1912 to the late R.L. and Flora Butler Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard McAuley; two sisters, Lalia Chandler and Irene Rushing and a brother, Leroy Hall. She was a member of the Mud Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Edith Chandler (T.L.) Webb of Milan; a brother, John C. Hall of Huntingdon; 4 grandchildren, Mary (Joe) Hickerson, Sarah (W.T.) Johnson, David (Dottye) Webb and Jonathan (Becky) Webb, and 7 great-grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Blaylock, Melanie Hickerson, Rachel and Rebecca Johnson, Josh, Ben and Tiffany Webb.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail B. Espey; a brother, Robert Pugh and three sisters, Ruth Mays, Grace Mitchell and Mary Leath. Ms. Crocker, the widow of Floyd Crocker, leaves two daughters, Shelby Fisher and husband Joel of Milan and Bobbie Haynes and husband James of Union City; a brother, Wilburn Harper of Milan; six sisters, Estelle Blankenship and Hattie Vee Crocker, both of Milan, Shirley  Taylor of McKenzie, Mary Ruth Barnes of FL, Rosie Lee Hayes of LA and Jessie Shannon of AL; three grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Harper and Argyle Harper Jr.

MILAN-Thomas Redden Brown, 82, retired farmer, died Thursday at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. Graveside services were Saturday at Eldad Cemetery. Bodkin Funeral Home had charge. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Eldad Baptist Church. Mr. Brown, the widower of Lou Lynn Brown, leaves two sons, Mark Brown and Tommy Brown, both of Jackson; a daughter, Janice Brown of Dyer; three brothers, Neal Brown of Humboldt, Kenneth Brown of Trenton and Hayes Brown of Panama City, FL; a sister, Margaret Williams of Lexington and two granddaughters, Michelle Pillow and Tabitha Brown. Memorials may be made to the Eldad Baptist Church.
