David Morris Peacock, 62, of Winona, Miss., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
He was an engineer for Krugher International in Winona and had worked as a broadcast engineer for numerous radio stations in Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Illinois since the 1960s. He was a member of the Broadcast Electronic Association and the Toastmasters in Dyersburg.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Milligan Springs Baptist Church in Kilmichael, Miss., with the Rev. Ed McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Milligan Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors today from 5-8 p.m. at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, Miss.

He was a retired cloth-finishing superintendent with Dyersburg Fabrics, a member of Southside Baptist Church, a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Dyer County Commissioner for 20 years and served as chairman of the budget committee for eight years.
