She was a retired seamstress for Henry I. Seigel Company and a member of Phillipy Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Phillipy Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Leggett, the Rev. Tom Brann and the Rev. Paul Bramlett officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery near Palmersville. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church and an avid bird watcher and reader.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Dr. Philip Cook officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Albert Galatin Harris, 71, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Dyer County, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 at South Austin Hospital in Austin, Texas.
He was a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant and served in the Navy, received the Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal. He served in the Korean War and later in Japan, Thailand and various areas in the U.S. until his retirement in 1977.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home.

He was a optometrist, past president of the Northwest Tennessee Optometry Society, past president of Tennessee Optometry Association, past president of Tennessee Academy of Optometry, elected Optometrist of the Year in 1969, a life member of American Optometry Association and served on several national committees. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Sigma Optometry Honor Society and Beta Sigma Kappa International Honorary Fraernity, a member of Alpha Tau Omega College Fraternity, former member of Dyersburg Jaycees, Dyersburg Kiwanis Club, Dyersburg Country Club, Loyal Order of Moose, Hess Lodge #93 Free and Accepted Masons. He served on the Administrative Board of First United Methodist Church and secretary and treasurer of the Vern Forcum Bible Class since 1950.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with Doctor Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
