He was a retired front-press operator for Reynolds Aluminum.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Butler's Chapel Cemetery in Buena Vista.
The family will receive visitors at 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was a farmer and Army PFC in World War II.

He was owner of Newbern American Service Station and a member of City of Newbern Beautification Committee.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors at 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Frazier of Newbern; a daughter, Linda Crouch of Dyersburg; his mother, Iva Rose Frazier of Newbern; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Crouch and Megan Crouch, both of Dyersburg and Jeffrey Dunaway and Robyn Dunaway, both of Montgomery, Ala.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Dunaway; and his father, Glen Frazier.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Dunaway, Buddy Dunaway, Jimmy Crouch, Hollie Crouch, Mike Wanz, Larry Dunaway and George Bruner.

She was a homemaker, a seamstress, refinisher and upholster of furniture and a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church.
Services will be at noon today in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The widow of Gene Fletcher Abernathy Sr., survivors include a daughter, Joyce Welch Jarvis and husband, Kenneth, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Gene Fletcher Abernathy Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Slidell, La.; a brother, Jay Leonberger and wife, Bennie, of Boonville, Mo.; three grandchildren, John Welch, and wife, Pamela of Columbia, Alicia Spencer and husband, Greg, of Slidell, La. and Gene Fletcher Abernathy III and wife, Neva, of Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Tylar Spencer and Baillie Spencer, both of Slidell, La. and Chelby Abernathy of Houston, Texas.
