Eldred Kirk 'Buck' Pope, 81, of Trimble, died Monday, April 7, 2003 at Baptist Hospital in Union City.
He was a retired butcher for Jenkins Food Market in Trimble, retired school bus dirver for Dyer County School System, served as an alderman for the City of Trimble for 40 years and was a member of Trimble Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of  Johnson Funeral Home with Brother Jasper Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.

Angie Ann Kuykendall, 40, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at NHC Healthcare in Milan.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bellevernon Cemetery in Friendship with the Rev. Lee Hatch officiating.

The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

She was a hairdresser.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home. The immediate family will have a private ceremony.

Sue Rosalyn Oakley Hankins, 69, of Memphis, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
She was a retired City Court Clerk for the City of Memphis court system and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Rutherford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Funeral Home in Memphis.

The family will receive visitors at 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

William Ward 'Dock' Hicks

William Ward "Dock" Hicks, 86, of Friendship, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Crockett County Highway Department and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today in South Fork Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Prince officiating. Friendship Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

She was a school teacher, a member of Springhill Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher, a pink lady volunteer at Parkview Hospital for 20 years, a member of Dyersburg Woman's Club and a member of Retired Teacher's Association.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was a retired shipping clerk for Tupperware and a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with Rick Crawford officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Newbern First United Methodist Church with the Rev. William T. Jowers officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at  Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern.

Mary Evans Leach, 94, of Dyersburg, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at Dyersburg Manor in Dyersburg.
She was the youngest of 11 children, a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, a former clerk at J.C. Penney in Dyersburg, a former employee of Sears in Memphis, a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, a former member of the RoEllen Home Demonstration Club and a member of RoEllen Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at  Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Waymon Hogue and the Rev. Johnny Michael officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

Fred A. Harper, 67, of Southaven, Miss., died Friday, April 11, 2003, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven.
He was a former forklift operator for Humboldt Express in Memphis and a member for 32 years of Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, where he was active with Bible Drillers and Young at Heart. He was born June 3, 1935, in Newbern.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven. Burial will be in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.  Johnson Funeral Home in Newbern is in charge of arrangements.

She was owner/operator of Cloverdale Store, had worked at Cloverdale Feed Mill as a nurse's aid and was a Methodist.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge with Doctor Phil Newton officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception at the Cloverdale Community Center following services.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Thursday at White Ranson Funeral Home in Union City.
