Kenneth Glen Hart, 62 of Philadelphia, Tenn., passed away Feb. 13 at Bradley Hospital. He was retired from the state of Tennessee Department of Transportation after 27 years. He was preceded in death by daughter Tammy. Survivors include wife of 42 years, Wanda Faye Hart; children and spouses: Callie and Jim Dodson, Christy Hart, Wendell and Shirley Hart, Steve and Tina Hart, Roger and Tracy Hart, Scott and Melisa Hart; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers. John Arthur Heatherly Sr., 84, of Fountain City, passed away Feb. 12. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a longtime employee of House Hasson Hardware and retired from Knox Rail Salvage. He was a lifelong Republican. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Cora McBee Heatherly. John Edward McConkey, 68, of south Knox, passed away Feb. 9 at UT Hospital. He was a member of Fellowship Church, Middlebrook Pike, and was owner/operator and chief pilot of Knoxville Flight Training Center at Downtown Island Airport. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
