ATWOOD - Margie Marie Killen, 74, retired from H.I.S., died of heart disease Monday at Humboldt General Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan with burial in Pisgah Cemetery. She was a member of Atwood Church of Christ. Mrs. Killen, the widow of James Roy Killen, leaves a daughter, Linda Elmore of Humboldt; three sisters, Ada McCombs of Lake, Peggy Mullins of Oregon and Betty Warf of Coos Bay, OR; three brothers, Clarence Goodrich of Coos Bay, R.C. Goodrich of Trezevant and J.C. Goodrich of New Jersey, four grandchildren and two great - grandchildren.

Services were at 1 p.m. Friday at Lawrence - Sorensen Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. She was a member of  Johnson Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Blankenship, the widow of Joe Albert Blankenship, leaves a daughter, Diallina Gilbert of Medina; a sister, Rebecca Braigg of Jackson, three grandchildren and three great - grandchildren.

Services were at 1 p.m. Thursday at White - Ranson Funeral Home with burial in Obion County Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ. She leaves a daughter, Sarah Bethel Medlock of Acworth, Ga; a son, Jerry Butler of Martin, 12 grandchildren and two great - grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the  Jackson - Madison County General Hospital Camp Blue Bird or Paragould (AR), Children's Home.

Mrs. Pope, the widow of Rex Pope, leaves a son, Leroy Pope of Lexington; two sisters, Bess Russell of Lexington and Ranny Sue Brogdon of Milan, four grandchildren and 10 great - grandchildren.

MILAN - Hugh Clarence Taylor, 90, retired carpenter, died of respiratory failure Monday at Milan General Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in White Rose Cemetery in Gibson. He was a member of Trinity Christian center in Gibson. Mr. Taylor, the husband of Martha Louise Taylor, also leaves a daughter, Carrie Norman of Trenton; four sons, James  Taylor of Bradford, Paul  Taylor of Buchanan, Wayne  Taylor of Gibson and Billy Taylor; a sister, Louise Weir of Sparta, 14 grandchildren, 25 great - grandchildren, nine great - great grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and a stepgreat - granddaughter. The family requests that any memorials be made to Trinity Christian center building fund.

Mr. Scott, the widower of Betty Jean Kilburn Scott, leaves four daughters, Angelia Ward of Paris, Alisa Manns of Nashville, and Melanie Scott and Teena Scott, both of Memphis; two sons, Tony Scott of Milan and Bobby Scott of Paris; three brothers, George Scott, Billy Scott and David Scott, all of Ridgely, 12 grandchildren and two great - grandchildren.

Hazel Smith
MILAN - Hazel Beatrice Bolerjack Smith, 91, homemaker, died Monday at NHC Healthcare of heart failure. Services will be Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church between Milan and Gibson, TN with burial in Double Springs Cemetery.
She was a member of the Adult Womens SS Class at Double Springs C.P. Church and the oldest member of the church. She was also a member of the C.P.W.
Mrs. Smith, the widow of Ernest Lee Smith also leaves a son Larry Dean Smith of Jackson, TN, one daughter June  Jones of Dyer, five grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Earl Bolerjack and a sister Mattie Lou Hammonds.
The family requests any memorials be sent to Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

The family requests that memorials be sent to  Jackson - Madison County Humane Society or Youth Town of Tennessee.

Mr. Petty, the widower of Mary Ruth Petty, leaves three daughters, Linda Lawson of Huntingdon, Doris McAlister of Bradford and Carol Davis of Sherrard, IL; one son William Petty, Milan, two sisters, Ruth Prince and Lizzie Atkins, both of Trenton; two brothers, Andy Petty and Dan Petty, both of Milan, eight grandchildren and 12 great - grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Michael Petty and two sisters Kate Harris & Mary Branham. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
