Scott Cox
Scott Joseph Cox, 48, McKenzie, died Tuesday at McKenzie Healthcare.
His father, Kenneth Cox and stepmother, Susan Cox, live in Paris.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial is in Olive Branch cemetery between Cottage Grove and Como.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
He was a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger in the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Lewis, Wash.. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include one sister: Candace (Robert) Hart of Batavia, Ill.; two brothers: Jeffrey (Teresa) Whelpley of Chicago and Michael Whelpley of Sycamore, Ill.; and a nephew: Anthony (Bethany) Mannarino of Nashville.
Catherine Elizabeth Maxwell
Catherine Elizabeth Maxwell long time resident of Paris, Tennessee passed away Thursday February 23, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ in Paris.
Elizabeth was born in Nolensville, Tennessee on April 13, 1914. She was the daughter of Etoile and William Sterling Waller.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard E. "Dick" Maxwell and her son Richard S. Maxwell. She is survived by her daughter Maxine (Tom) Meadows of Louisville, Kentucky, 3 grandsons, Richard Jackson Meadows of Florence, Kentucky, Jonathan Thomas Meadows of Brentwood, Tennessee, Micah Lawrence Maxwell of Houston, Texas. She has 4 great grandchildren, Catherine Meadows, Alex Meadows, Brock Meadows and Drake Meadows.
Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday 2:00 until 7:00 PM. There will be a graveside service at Woodlawn cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee at 2:00 PM on Monday February 27, 2012, with Bro. John Dale, Glendale Road Church of Christ, officiating.

David Witherspoon
Witherspoon was the son of Sue Witherspoon, Paris, TN and the late Robert "Bob" Witherspoon.
He is survived by a sister: Janice (Thomas) Buckle, Henry, TN; three brothers: Robert L. (Janice) Witherspoon, Henry, TN, James Witherspoon, Puryear, TN and Terry (Jackie) Witherspoon, Paris, TN.
He worked for several years at Terry's Automatic Transmission Shop.
No service is scheduled at this time.
Dorothy Harper
Dorthy Harper, 83, of Paris died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2012, in Paris.
Her husband, L.C. Harper, survives.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today, 1-8 p.m. Saturday and after noon Sunday.
Sidney Ray
Sidney Ray, 80, Paris, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Huntingdon Health Center. He was a former owner of a plumbing business and was a retired U.S. Air Force medic.
A graveside service was planned in Bethlehem cemetery near Henry. There was no visitation. Ridgeway Funeral Home handled arrangements.
His wife, Melissa Madden Ray, survives.
He was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church.
Other survivors are four daughters: Anita Lynn Ray and Deborah Keith, both of Oklahoma City, Tiffany Dawn Moyer of Dallas and Roshella (Mitch) Jackson of Murray; three sons: Sidney (Cheryl) Ray Jr. of Midwest City, Okla., James Ray of Norman, Okla., and Jeffrey Moyer of Staunton, Va.; seven brothers and sisters; two grandchildren, both of Henry; and five great-grandchildren.
John Herndon
John Frank Herndon, 77, of Paris died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 26, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The body will be cremated.
His wife, Betty Hicks Herndon, survives.
Herndon retired as a truck driver with Smith Transfer in Milan. He was a member of Glendale Road of Church of Christ in Murray, was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran and a Shriner.
Other survivors are two daughters: Emily (David) Hopper of Jackson and Mary Herndon Duffey of Paris; two sons: John Mark (Patty) Herndon of Paris and David Andrew Herndon of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one brother: Jim Herndon of Paris; six grandchildren: Maris Trinity McConnell and Chris and Angel Powell, all of Paris, and Josh and Brooke Hopper of Jackson; and several great-grandchildren.

Darrell Coats
Darrell Coates, 73, Paris, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
His wife, Belinda Taylor Coats, survives.
Coats was a retired employee of the Paris Landing State Park. He was a member and deacon of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. While in the Army, he was stationed at Fort Campbell, where he was a member of the 101st Airborne from 1960-1963. He retired after 21 years at the state park.
Other survivors are: three daughters: Candy (Mike) Wiggins, Sonya (Andy) Clark and Mitzi Schoeberl, all of Paris; and three sisters: Janet (Troy) Riggins of Dover, Bonnie Hinson of Buchanan and Tammy (Dennis) Duncan of Dover.
Maxine Beacham
Maxine Beacham, 97, Paris, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at the local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home.Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
She was married
to the late Paul Berry Harding, and then married
the late Oscar Beacham.
Beacham worked as registered nurse at the former Henry County General Hospital and Henry County Medical Center. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Other survivors are three sons: William “Bill” (Karen) Harding of Paris, Charles “Butch” (Mary Ann) Harding of Germantown and Robert “Bob” Harding and Marya Diacoumacos of Yorba Linda, Calif.; one sister: Ann (Gene) Culp of Union City; one brother: Charles Morrisette of Union City, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mason Tyler Garner
Mason Tyler ("Mr. T") Garner, six-month-old son of Gary Wayne and Angela Garner of Paris, died Thursday night, Feb. 16, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center.
Visitation is at Ridgeway Funeral Home from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services will be held at New Liberty Cemetery, Buchanan.
The Garners attend TVCC Church in Paris.
Other survivors are two brothers: Gabe Wynn and Lathan Garner, an uncle, Jeremy Wynn of Trinidad, Colo.

Jerry Willoughby
Jerry Willoughby, 68, Big Sandy, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Henry County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will be at Stockdale cemetery in Big Sandy.
He was a retired machine operator at Dana.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Darlene Redden Willoughby, one daughter, Lisa Armstrong, Clarksville; a son, Glen Willoughby, Paris; a stepson, Craig Klamer, Gallatin; one sister, Ruth Parker, Paris.
Wanda Sanders Vance
Wanda Vance, 79, Paris, died August 8, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at McEvoy Funeral home, with burial in Memorial Cemetery.
Funeral service 10:00 A.M. Monday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Luctio of Seventh Day Adventist officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Claude Sanders and Lona Easter Sanders. On July 7, 1979 she married
Lloyd Wayne Vance, he survives in Paris, TN.
Survived by daughter: Merri (Wally) Harris, Cicero, IL; Sisters: Carolyn Sanders, Jonesboro, AR and Phyllis (Kenneth) Dugan, Jonesboro, AR. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Wanda was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked and retired as a factory worker in the automotive industry. She worked as a volunteer at the Henry County Fairgrounds and was a Homemaker who loved her family and really enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.
