James Paschall

Born in Mayfield, KY to the late Clayton Samuel and Mildred E. Adams Paschall. On June 15, 1987 he married
Janett Paschall, she survives in Paris.
Survived by a daughter: Terrie (Michael) Palazzo, WI; step-daughter: Vicky (James) Cagle, IN; step-sons: Billy Osborne, FL, Michael (Debbie) Osborne, IL; sister: Barbara Gleason, TN; grandchildren: eleven; great-grandchildren: ten and by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Paschall retired after 33 years of service from the Xerox Corporation as a trainer and tech. He enjoyed playing the steel guitar, earned his Laotian Wings and was an expert marksman and gun enthusiast. James was also a Free Mason with the Paris Lodge and served in Army National Guard and Tennessee State Guard a total of 24 years.
Mayotha Tharpe
Mayotha Tharpe, 72, Paris, died August 23, 2013 at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He married
Alberta Curtis Tharpe, and she survives with a daughter Renee Freeman; and sisters in law Carol Whitfield, Connie Allen Merl and Mildred Tharpe and a brother-in-law, Willia Hudson.
Tharpe worked at Emerson electric for 32 years, at Commercial Bank for 28 years and at Rhea School. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and of Confidence Lodge 17.
Jessie Davidson
Jessie Davidson, 93, Paris, died August 26, 2013 at Morningside of Paris. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She married
James Davidson, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a nephew Harold Vickery, S.C., and other nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and Sunday School, Paris; and retired from Holley Carburetor.

Earl French
Earl French, 79, Paris, died August 26, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
He married
Chloe Ann Brewer French, who survives with daughters Kathy Pafford, Springville; Sherry Dickson, Lebanon; sisters Vivian Lowe, Paris; Lillian "Polly" Holland, Springville; and Hazel Patterson, Mich.; and brother Kenneth, Paris.
He was a retired self-employed businessman and member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Naomi Roberts
The funeral service for Naomi Jamison Roberts of Paris will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Paris. The Revs. Joseph A. Geary and Robert D. Martin will officiate.
A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday in Cedar Grove cemetery in Salem, Mo.
Chosen as pallbearers are Todd Bell, Wesley and Brently Barrow and Gregory Brown.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Roberts, 97, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at her residence.
Born Aug. 7, 1916, in Sligo, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Louise Leslie and Nora Gravatt Jamison.
She was married
on June 15, 1940, to Sherman Roy Roberts, who died Sept. 13, 2007.
Roberts was a member of Salem (Mo.) United Methodist Church, where she was a children’s Sunday school teacher and member of Women’s Society of Christian Service.
She leaves two daughters: Elyse (Don) Bell of Paris and Celia (Howard) Barnhard of Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren: Todd Bell of Baton Rouge, La., Traci (Gregory) Brown of St. Louis, Wesley Barrow of Chicago and Brently (Dennise) Barrow of Little Rock; Five great-grandchildren: Rachel and Andrew Brown, Parker, Payton and Presley Naomi Barrow; and two nieces: Joy (Scott) Ziegemeier of St. Charles, Mo., and Jackie (Mike) Rape of Longmont, Colo.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Sherman Mark Roberts; and a brother: James Robert Jamison.

Letha Milton
Graveside services for Letha E. Milton of Millington, Tennessee, were held August 27th, 2013 at Hillcrest cemetery in Paris, Tennessee. Bro. M. O. Eckel will officiate the ceremony. Mrs. Milton died at 11:50 a.m. on August 23rd, 2013, at Millington Healthcare Center, Millington, Tennessee. Mrs. Milton was born September 14, 1912, in Monroe County, MO. She was the daughter of the late Shaver C. Tillitt and Laura Sanders Tillitt. She was married
to the late Robert Milton of Dover, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. She is survived by daughters Norma (Claude) Freeman of Millington, Tennessee, and Karen (Tommy) Rakestraw of Marion, Arkansas. She also has seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Broadmore Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee.
Betty Swor
Betty Jean Sanders Swor, age 79, of Springville, Tenn., died Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Life Care Center of Bruceton in Bruceton, Tenn. She was Married to Horace Swor August 6, 1955 and he preceded in death October 13, 2009. Member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Formerly worked as a nurse for Dr. Chesmore and formerly at Holley Carburetor Plant.. .
She was the daughter of the late Cager Sanders and the late Cessie Hoofman Sanders.
She is survived by her Daughter-Merriann Starzec of Jackson, TN; Four Sons, Mark Swor of Paris, Tenn., Michael "Mikie" Swor of Springville, Tenn., Randy Swor of Springville, Tenn., and Tim (Melissa) Swor of Springville, Tenn.

He was born in Dale, OK to the late W.J. and Lillie Byrd Cox. On December 11, 1946 he married
Myree Smith Cox she survives in Paris.
Preceded by sisters: Clara Bow Neal and Shirley Faye Greene; two brothers: Jessie Cox and Tommy Cox.
Mr. Cox was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris. He was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the American Legion, Paris Lions Club, lifetime member of the Good Sam's Camping Club and had worked at Ellis Heating Company for over 58 years.
Aubrey is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was born in Chicago, IL to the late George and Pietrina Monteleone Vallone. On November 10, 1938 she married
John "Bud" Brown, he preceded April 23, 1982.
Survived by daughters: Patricia Ward Harrison, Paris, Belle Liska, Bull Shoals, AR; nine grandchildren; Johnny ward, Mike (Christy) Ward, Loretta Ward Coker, Joey Palicka, David Palicka, Jason Palicka, Angie (Jason) Wiser, Kathy (Gary) Miranda, Christopher Brown and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Preceded by a son Thomas Brown, August 12, 1987; sister: Sarah Pecoraro Bishop; brothers: Sam Valloni, Charles Vallone, Frank Vallone, Mike Vallone and Johnny Vallone in infancy.
Mrs. O'Donnell was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO for the Knights of Columbus and was a big supporter of Cancer organizations.

Aloysius "Al" Kraus, he preceded June 7, 1999.
Survived by a sister: Ursula Belshaser, Germany.
Preceded by a son at the age of three and a brother: Eyke Michow.
Mrs. Kraus was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Paris where she was very active in church activities including the Chancel Choir, UMW and teaching Sunday School.
She was a member of the Paris Women's Club, Paris Garden Club and Creative Homemakers Club. Barbara was retired RN.
Jessie Marie (Hutchinson) Thomas
Jessie Marie Thomas, 76, of Puryear, Tennessee died Monday, August 19, 2013 in Murray-Callaway County Hospital after a brief illness.
Ridgeway Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
She was born March 8, 1937 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ed and Sarah Hutchinson. She was a homemaker who loved to garden and loved her cats. She was a member of the Buchanan United Methodist Church.
Jessie is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Elvis Hutchinson.
She is survived by her husband, of 55 years, Curtis Thomas; two sons, Steve Thomas of Fredrick, MD. and Curtis (Carrie) Thomas of Brownstown, MI; six brothers, Randel, Arthur, LeeRoy, Harold, Ralph, and Truman; six sisters, Belvia, Wilma, Deloris, Kay, Jackie and Arvilla; grandchildren, Robert, Sheri, Jill and Kenny; Several nieces and nephews .
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Fred Wiles, minister. Burial will follow at the Cribbs Hill cemetery near Grayson.
