Larry Crawford
Larry Crawford, age 70 of Paris, died Friday, November 8, 2013 at his residence.
Crawford was a former Mayor of Paris and retired businessman who also served as CEO of the Henry County Alliance.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Thomas and Cathryn Jackson Crawford, and his brother Jerome Crawford.
Crawford is survived by his wife, Sandra Deck Crawford, their son David Crawford and daughter Kim (Sam) Cox, and two grandchildren, Wesley (Alex) Cox and Olivia Cox.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are being handled by Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home in McKenzie, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, the Crawford family has requested that memorial donations be placed to the charity of your choice.
Clester D. Martin
Clester D. "Duffy" Martin, age 82 of Paris, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Henry County Health Care Center. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 PM Sunday, November 10, and from 10 AM until noon Monday, November 11.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, November 10 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Rose Lawn Memory Garden.
Fred Watkins
Fred Watkins, age 82, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at his residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
He was married
December 23, 1971, for 43 years, to Elaine Harrison Watkins and she survives.
He was a member of Palmersville Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran of Korea. He was also a farmer and former tractor salesman.
Fred was born March 25, 1932 in Stribling, TN to the late Frank Watkins and the late Lena Cathey Watkins.
Besides his wife he is also survived by his One Son, William Buck (Leah) Watkins of Cottage Grove; and Grandchildren, Alexus Watkins and Berrett Watkins of Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Besides his parents, Fred was also preceded in death by Brothers, Cap Ross Watkins and Mack Watkins; and Sisters, Katie Bell Gansner, Alberta Lauer, Virginia Harvey, and Hazel Yarbrough.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 and after 9 am Monday, December 29, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, December 29, 2014.
Bob Copeland will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Rudy, Bob Rudy, Jim Rudy, David Rudy, Don Fieck and Nate Rudy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Mack Watkins and Mike Harrison.
Interment will be at Walker cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Charles Wilson
Charles Wilson, age 89 of Cottage Grove, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his residence.
Wilson served in the US Army and was a veteran of World War II; he graduated from Springville High School and attended Austin Peay State University.
Wilson worked at the DuPont plant in New Johnsonville, Tenn. for 25 years; he was also a farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh and Eunice Wilson, and his wife of 64 years, Esthalene Brown Wilson, who died November 24, 2010.
Wilson is survived by five daughters, Melanie (Danny) Guinn of Paris, Beth (Ricky) Weatherford of Buchanan, Jan (Roy) Sharp of Henderson, Tenn., Pat (Kenneth) Thurmond of Mayfield, Ky., and Peggy (Neil) Chatham of Athens, Ala.; two sons, Bruce (Lisa) Wilson of Paris and Charles A. "Chuck" Wilson of Cottage Grove; and two brothers, Garland (Lottie) Wilson of Lebanon, Tenn., and Claytus (Helen) Wilson of Paris; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 9 from 4 until 8 PM and Sunday, November 10 from noon until 2:30 at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted in LeDon Chapel at Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:30 PM Sunday, November 10th with burial to follow in Walker Cemetery.
Viann Veazey
Viann Veazey, age 81 of Paris, died Thursday, November 7, 2013.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM Saturday, November 9 at First United Methodist Church, and Sunday, November 10 at Ridgeway Funeral Home from noon until 1:30 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at First United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Walker Cemetery.

Dortheal Payne, age 89 of Henry, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Paris Healthcare Center.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Friday, November 8 and from 10 until 11 AM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at McEvoy Funeral Home at 11 AM Saturday, November 9 with interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Theodore "Ted" Diem
Theodore "Ted" Diem, age 77 of Paducah, KY died Wednesday, November 6, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Diem.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday, November 8 at Ridgeway Funeral Home with interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Rachel Schultz Gryzik
Rachel Schultz Gryzik, age 48 of Paris, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
Gryzik is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Betty Bell Schultz, as well as her husband David Gryzik, who died June 18, 1996.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kristen Gryzik of Bradenton, FL and Bridget Gryzik of Paris, her son Aaron Shai-Gryzik of Sarasota, FL, and two brothers, Rob and Will Schultz of Bradenton, FL.
She is also survived by one grandchild, Serenity Gryzik of Bradenton, FL.
McEvoy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and no services have been scheduled at this time.
Jerry Micheal Cotham
Jerry Micheal Cotham, age 65 of Paris, died Wednesday, November 6th, 2013, at his residence.
Cotham served in the Army and previously worked at Plumley Companies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lyda Pendergrass Cotham.
Cotham is survived by his brother, Philip Cotham of Paris, TN., and two sistsers, Jackie Mihalik of Paris and JoAnn (Larry) Lewis of Mesa, AZ.
Services will be held at a later date and are being handled by McEvoy Funeral Home.
Earl Lavine, Sr.
Earl L. Lavine, Sr., age 91 of Paris, died Wednesday, November 6th, 2013, at his residence.
Lavine served for four years in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater of World War II; he retired from the Air Force after 38 years of service as a procurement officer.
Lavine is preceded in death by his parents, Earl V. and Ethel Gibson Lavine, and his brother Neil A. Lavine.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Anna May Arbanasian Lavine of Paris, their sons Earl V. (Becky) Lavine of Paris and Michael E. (Patti) Lavine of Elk Grove, CA., and one granchild, Melissa N. Lavine of Paris.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Denise Griffin Phifer
Denise Griffin Phifer, age 54 of Paris, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 PM on Saturday and from noon until 2 PM on Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hansel Cemetery.
Memorials may be made at any branch of Security Bank for Phifer's children.
Patsy Evans
Patsy Evans, age 66 of Paris, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her residence.
Evans was a member of Tennessee Valley Community Church and and an avid pet lover.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Barbara Humphreys Meredith, her first husband John Lee Neal, who died October 30, 1970, only a year after they were married, and her brother Kenneth Humphreys.
Evans is survived by her former husband Randy L. Evans, her brother Johnny Meredith of Detroit, MI, her sisters Linda (Buddy) Carpenter of Charleston, WV. and Joyce Evans of Paris, her sons John Lee (Michele) Neal of Paris and Nickey Evans of Hendersonville, TN, her daughters Marlene June (Ronald) Raether of Dayton, OH and Mandy Marie Evans of Paris, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Monday, November 4th at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home from 2 to 3 PM Monday prior to the service.
Edwin MacPherson
Mr. MacPherson was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Howard and Eugenia Gee MacPherson. On January 23, 1951 he married
Barbara Jean Fergus MacPherson, she survives in Springville, TN.
Survived by daughters: Sandra (David) Brewer, Mountlake Terrace, WA, Edwina (Dell) Fuentes, Terrell, TX; son: Lee (fiancée Rae Gordon) MacPherson, Fairfax, CA; sister: Evelyn Chadwick, Florida; grandchildren: Morgan MacPherson, Stephanie Brewer, Chris (Megan) Brewer, Dawn Hastings, Jacob Ervin, Matthew (Lisa) Ervin, Andrew (Ashley) Ervin, Rebecca (Kenneth) Williams and six great-grandchildren.
Joell Dunaway
Joell Dunaway, 46, Paris, died Oct. 13, 2012 at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Her husband, Vincent, survives. Other local survivors include three sons, Vincent, Matthew, and Dallas, all of Paris.
She was a cafeteria worker at Henry County High School.
