Charles Haynes
Charles L. Haynes, 91, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Chicago. Arrangements are incomplete at Trinity Funeral Home.

Rose Marie Bomar Donegan Baxter
Graveside service 1:00PM Friday, June 8, 2012, at Manley's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Survived by her daughters: Cindy (Mark) Jacobson, Cordova, Brenda McNevin, Paris; step-son: John (Kathleen) Baxter, Jr., Drummonds; grandchildren: Kristen (Nick) Jones and Taylor McNevin; step-grandchild: Brandi Baxter; great-grandchildren: Hayden Timothy Jones, Ethan Lewis Jones, Harrison Lee Jones and Zachary Baxter; In Laws: Judy and Gary Steele.
Preceded by: husband: John T. Baxter; former husband: Freddie Donegan; parents: Harvey Temple Bomar, Sr. and Marie Somerville Bomar and a brother: Harvey "Tim" Bomar, Jr. in 1996.
Rose was a Baptist by faith and attended Springhill Baptist Church. She enjoyed life and had many talents and numerous hobbies.

Katherine "Kathy" Taylor
Funeral service 1:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at McEvoy Funeral Home, Bro. Joe Collins, New Life Baptist Church, Henry, TN and Bro. Brian Anderson, Metropolis, IL will officiate, burial will follow at Henry City Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are: Don Raymer, III, Jeremy D. Raymer, Kenny Caron, Marty Caron, Dwayne Bowden and Walter Buddy Bowden.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday and after 10:00AM Saturday.
She is survived by her husband: Noah Ray Taylor, Paris; daughter: Marcia Lynn Prince, Paris; son: Jerry Burton Clayton, Henry; sister: Toni Kaye Bowden, Paris; brothers: Walter Steve (Debbie)Bowden, Henry, Larry Wayne (Shelia) Bowden, Henry, Charley Ray (Sherry) Bowden, Paris; grandchildren: Larry D. Raymer, III, Bobbie Sue Raymer and Jeremy D. Raymer; great-grandchildren: eight and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by her husband: Tony Clayton, July 26, 1994; parents: Walter Haskell and Ruby Lee Boatwright Bowden and a brother: Paul Ray Bowden.
Kathy, always with a smile on her face, loved to fish, go to flea markets, flowers and her family. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Henry.

Rocco Mark Marion
Rocco Mark Marion, 46, Paris, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Ridgeway Funeral Home; the body will be cremated.
Marion was owner of Country Lane Pre-School in Paris, and was a retired Marine Patrol Officer from Naples, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria; mother, Edith Marion, Paris; daughter, Melina barrow, Paris; and son, Carlin Monroe, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Ronald "Ronnie" Garrett
Ronald Garrett, 67, Edwardsburg, Mich., died at his residence Thursday, May 31, 2012. There will be no service; the body will be cremated. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his sister, Diane Shankle, Springvi; ; e and a sister-in-law, Betty Garrett, Cottage Grove, plus nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and was in the U.S. Navy.

Larry Horath Sr.
Larry Horath Sr., 58, Paris, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at his residence. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements; there will be no service, the body was cremated.
Horath married Bonnie Horath, who survives with two daughters, Tina Horath of Paris and Tammy Lampley of Joelton; three sons, Larry, Jr. and James Horath, both of Paris; and Joshua Edwards of S.C.; plus four sisters and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He worked at an air conditioning company in Illinois.

Lynn Holden
Lynn Holden, 70, Buchanan, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Plumley Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial in Bethel cemetery in Buchanan.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie, two daughters, Cynthia Cartwright, Valparaiso, Ind.; Janie Manning, Springville; two sisters and three brothers.
He was retired from U.S. Steel.

Norman Anstey
Norman Anstey, 85, Paris, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services were held saturday, June 2, at Puryear Baptist Church. Ridgeway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Doris, and daughter, Cynthia, New York; three sons, Brian, laneland, Tenn., Brady, New York, and Doug of Buchanan.
He worked as a county tax assessor in New York.

Joyce Morris
Joyce Owen Morris, age 69 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. Funeral service will be at McEvoy Funeral Home Monday at 2:00 PM conducted by Bro. Richard Perigo one of Jehovah's Witnesses South Congregation in Clarksville, TN. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park with family members serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service Monday.
Joyce Carolyn Morris was born in Henry County, TN to Henry Washington Owen and Mattie Belle Vaughan Owen, both of whom preceded her in death. She married George Herbert Morris on January 23, 1955 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2001.
Mrs. Morris is survived by a daughter: Jan (Rod) Stumphf of Clarksville, TN; sons: Mark (Barbara) Morris and Jason (Kathy) Morris of Clarksville, TN; brothers: James (Neva) Owen of Lansing, MI; Gordon Owen and Byron (Betty) Owen of Paris, TN; sister-in-law: Ludene Owen of Paris, TN; grandchildren: Shane and Matthew Stumphf, Megan Stumphf Martis, Michael, Caitlin and Bradley Morris; and four Great Grandchildren.
Joyce was also preceded in death by sisters: Geneva McClure, Naomi Woodard, Marjorie Heath, and Sarah McGuire; brother: Harold Owen.
Mrs. Morris was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, a homemaker and a loving mother. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. McEvoy Funeral home is in charge.

Dorothy Etheridge Harrelson
Dorothy Etheridge Harrelson, age 86, of Paris and Puryear, TN passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Methodist Residential Hospice in Germantown, TN. There will be a graveside service 3:00 PM Saturday at the Puryear City cemetery with Bro. Mackie Gallimore officiating. Pallbearers will be Neely Owens, Mike Jenkins, Troy Jenkins, Kit Jenkins, John Etheridge and Spencer Etheridge. Visitation 1:00 – 2:30PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home. She was born in Puryear, TN to the late William Arlander and Sallie LaFever Etheridge. On August 16, 1943 she married Noble Harrelson, he preceded May 1, 1998. Survived by a daughter: Nancy Harrelson, Oxford, MS; grandchildren: Sara Carrington Stumberg (Lawrence) Walker, Catherine Noble Stumberg and Patrick Louis Stumberg all of San Antonio, TX; great-grandchild: Walstein Lawrence “Lawson” Walker, IV, San Antonio, TX; nieces: Cheryl (Mike) Jenkins, Nashville, TN, Melanie (Dan) Townsend, Paris, TN, Renee (Brian) Caraway, Maryville, TN; nephew: John (Jane) Etheridge, Paris, TN; great-niece: Jill (Kevin) Stotts and Rachel (Sebastian) Solar, both of Houston, TX, Kelsey Jo Caraway, Maryville, TN; great nephews: Kit (Chastity) Jenkins, Troy Jenkins both of Nashville, TN, Spencer Etheridge, Paris, TN, Nathan (Jessica) Etheridge, Memphis, TN, Blake Etheridge, Knoxville, TN and Josh Caraway, Maryville, TN. Dorothy graduated as the valedictorian of the Puryear High School class of 1943, after which she married Noble Harrelson, her high school sweetheart, upon his return from the Army. After working in Detroit, they returned to Puryear where they lived until Noble’s death in 1998.

Kitty French
Hoyle " Kitty" French, 80, Paris, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the christ Family Worship Center in Puryear, with burial in the Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the worship center.

William Garner
William Garner, 66, Dresden, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Larry Jones
Larry Jones, 60, Henry, died Friday, May 25, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Henry Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 28. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. sunday. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery, Paris.
He married Kathy Fitzhugh Jones, who survives with his father, Chester Jones, St. Louis; two sons, Casey, Henry; and Travis, Paris; three sisters, Patricia Proffitt and Breana Bell, both of Granite City, Ill.; Jackie Hurocy of Collinsville, ill.; and two brothers, Jerry and Ricky Jones, both of Granite City.
He worked at Tosh Farms and was a former pastor at Palmersville, Fairview, Bethany and Mt Sinai Baptist Churches. He was a former alderman and vice mayor of Henry, a member of the Henry Co. rescue squad and Henry volunteer fire department and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Blake Gregory
Graveside service 11:00 AM Friday, May 25, 2012, at Memorial cemetery in Paris with Rev. Jenna Goggins officiating.
Pallbearers: Mike Nickoles, Derek Hatcher, Eric Ingle, Chris Cowan and Henderson Hewes, honorary pallbearers: Andy Millstead and Bailey Hewes.
Visitation 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Survived by his parents: Susan Elizabeth "Beth" Abernathy Thomas and Richard E. Thomas of Columbus, MS, and Charles Wayne and Lynn Gregory of Nashville, TN; son: Aaron Gregory, Murfreesboro; brother: Charles C. (Jeanine) Gregory, Smyrna; grandparents: Bailey and Betty Abernathy, Biloxi, MS, Mary Gregory Thompson, Portland; great grandparent: Blake Cowan, Brentwood; great aunts: Gene Richardson, Paris, Suzanna Herron, Paris; great uncle: Andrew Abernathy, Paris and Palmyra, TN.
Blake attended New Hope High School in columbus, MS. He was known for his love of life, sense of humor and his dedication to family. He will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be made to the the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309....in honor of his mother, Beth Thomas, a 10 year breast cancer survivor.
