Damon Story
Damon Edward Story, age 77 of Buchanan, died Friday Nov. 28th at his residence.
Visitation will be Monday Dec. 1, 11:30am until 1pm. Funeral will be at 2pm with a graveside service at Mt. Olivete cemetery in McKenzie.
Damon was a 1957 graduate of Grove High School and worked for Emerson Electric Co. for over 20 years.

Suzanne Wynne
Suzanne D. Wynne, age 60, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Paris, TN.
Suzanne attended TVCC-Tennessee Valley Community Church. She formerly worked as a paralegal for several years. She enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was born November 15, 1954 in Cleveland, OH to Joyce Nobles (Jim) Cook of Paris, TN and the late George Greer Jr.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her One Daughter, Amanda (Joe) Jones of Nashville, Tenn; One Son, Brandon (Michelle) Wynne of Mt. Juliet, Tenn; One Half Sister, Sarah Greer Hinjosa of Texas; One Half Brother, Matthew Greer of Texas; Five Grandchildren, Baleigh Jones, Jake Jones, Emma Wynne, Grant Wynne, and Annalee Wynne; and Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Monday, December 1, 2014 and from 10 – 11 am Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Ken Wells will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hicks, David Hicks, Leslie Hicks, Joe Jones, Ted Cason and John Kingrey.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.

Thelma Hays
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. John Dale of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and Bro. Victor Eskew of the East Wood Street Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery.
Visitation 12:00 noon until service time Sunday.
She was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Joseph Franklin and Mary Lynn Arnold. April, 1946 she married Dudley P. Hays, he preceded December 26, 2011.
Survived by daughters: Aleda (David) Rickelton, Jr., Greensboro, NC, Debi Hays, Laredo, TX; grandchildren: David Kendall (Angela) Rickelton, Jr., Greensboro, NC, Patrick Hays (Erin) Rickelton, Nashville, Jennie Lynn (Adam) Alberson, Greensboro, NC; great-grandchildren: Ava, Jackson, Ethan, Silas and Isla Rickelton and Haleigh Alberson.
Mrs. Hays was a long time member of East Wood Street Church of Christ in Paris. She served on annual Vacation Bible School committees and taught Bible classes for children. She taught piano lessons in her home as well as at Puryear and Henry schools. She was a member of the Matinee Music Club. She was a long time member of the Quota Club and served as secretary of the local chapter.
Since the death of her spouse of 65 years she has lived in North Carolina with her daughter Aleda and son-in-law David Rickelton surrounded by her loving family. She was featured in an issue of the Forsyth Woman magazine as a participant in a ground breaking medical research program for non-invasive aortic valve replacement. Because of the success of this procedure, Mrs. Hays made her first trip to New York City at age 89 as was interviewed by a member of NBC’s Today show. She was even able to return to NYC to see local actress Cherry Jones in The Glass Menagerie.

Jerry McNutt
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Cain of Maplewood Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at New Beaver Dam Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Earl Williams, Danny Williams, Jerry Williams, Austin Kelly, Adam Kelly and Jonathan McNutt.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Friday and after 12:00 noon Saturday.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce Williams McNutt, Paris; daughter: Teresa (Perry) Story, Cross Plains; step-daughter: Carol (Ronnie) Nash, Paris; son: Jeff (April) McNutt, Murfreesboro; step-son: Michael (Kim) Hastings, Carroll County, TN; sister; Sue (Ted) Prince, Alexandria, VA; grandchildren: Adam Kelly, Austin (Reah) Kelly, Sarah Kelly, Olivia Story, Jonathan McNutt, Katelyn McNutt, Josh (Kayla) Harris, Jennifer (Mike) Patterson, Amy French, Michael Nash; great-grandchildren: Shaelin Carter, Evy Johnson, Lane McClain, Adelyn Patterson, Loren Patterson; sister-in-law: Marie (Sonny) Wilson; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Karen) Williams, Earl (Erlene) Williams and Danny (Katie) Williams.
Preceded by his parents: Homer and Minnie Malone Townsend and a brother: Joe W. McNutt.
Jerry was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. He was a retired maintenance welder for DuPont for 24 years and a veteran of the United States Navy.

Duane Ohlson
Duane Donald Ohlson, age 83, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Residence in Paris, Tenn. He married September 17, 1954 to Geraldine Pytlewski Ohlson, who survives. He was a retired Electrical Engineer at CPC International in Bedford Park, IL, a US Army Korean veteran and a loving husband of 60 years.
He was the son of the late Gustav Ohlson and the late Maybella Bradley Ohlson. He is also survived by his wife Geraldine Pytlewski Ohlson; two daughters; Daughter-Lorraine (Gary) Norwood of Lemont, Ill and Sandra Theros of Bartlett, Tenn. He also leaves grandchildren: Jennifer (Farif) Rizvanovich, Julie Theros & Marci Theros. Great Grandchildren: Blaine, Kayne, Greyson Rizvanovich and Nolan Theros-Keller.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn. The body is to be cremated with a memorial service at a later date.

Phillip Wilbanks
Phillip Wilbanks, age 44 of Henry, died Thursday Nov. 20th at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Sunday and again starting at Noon on Monday Nov. 24th. Funeral service will be Monday at 2pm at McEvoy Funeral home with burial to follow in the Henry Cemetery.

Johnny Beckwith
John Raymond “Johnny” Beckwith, age 53, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, November 21, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and he worked as an industrial electrician until about 3 years ago, when he became ill.
Johnny was born January 4, 1961 in Paris, TN to his father, the late Cleo Beckwith and mother Sandra Hughes (Don) Brown of Paris, TN.
Besides his mother, he is also survived by his One Daughter, Kellie (Henry) Rendleman of Franklin, Tenn;
Two Sons, Brandon (Tiffany) Goree of Wingo, Ky, Hunter Goree of Wingo, Ky; One Sister, Christy (Darren) Roberson of Paris, Tenn; One Brother, Steve (Dawn) Brown of Paris, Tenn; Four Grandchildren, Colin, Jonas, Kinsley, and Henry Rendleman
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.
He is to be Cremated with a Memorial Service held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.

Treva Merrell
Treva W. Merrell, age 82, of Puryear, Tenn., died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married July 3, 1959 to Jan Evelyn Paul Merrell and she preceded in death August 23, 2012.
Treva was a member of Jesus Saves Baptist Church. He was a Minister for many years and enjoyed preaching at nursing homes. He formerly worked at Mar-Kel Lighting Co. in Paris, TN.
He was born June 16, 1932 in Buchanan, TN to the late Woodard Merrell and the late Annie May Todd Merrell.
He is survived by his Five Daughters, Bernice Nelson of Oil City, Pa, Deborah (Danny) Hart of Puryear, Tenn, Treva Lynn (Dale) Greer of Paris, Tenn, Bonnie (Marcus) Heckman of Clarksville, Tenn, Virginia (Darrell) Evans of Paris, Tenn; Two Sons, Jimmy (Debra) Merrell of Springville, Tenn, David (Becky) Merrell of Paris, Tenn; One Brother, Cortez Merrell of Paris, Tenn; 25 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, Treva was also preceded in death by a Son, Phillip Merrell; Son-in-law, Jerry Nelson; Sister, Wanda Merrell; Brothers, Harvey Merrell, Charles Merrell, and Lonnie Dale Merrell; and a Granddaughter, Leslie Lurlene Evans Heckman.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014 and from 12 – 2 pm Sunday, November 23, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Larry Craig will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Shawn Merrell, Brodie Merrell, Hunter Merrell, Phil Eric Merrell, Danny Hart II, Ronnie Nelson, J.W. Nelson and Donald Merrell.
Interment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, Tenn.

Leroy Bennett
Finise Leroy Bennett, age 74, of Puryear, Tenn., died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Murray Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, Ky.
He was married June 9, 1968 to Linda Fay Duncan Bennett and she survives.
He retired from Kenlake Foods in Murray, KY and was a Member of Hazel Baptist Church and a US Army veteran.
He was the son of the late Jessie Bennett and Moline Thorne Bennett, who lives in Hazel, Ky.
He is also survived by two sons, Trevor (Erin) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn., and Troy (Teresa) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn. Two sisters: Linda (David) Belcher of Benton, Ky. and Brenda (Glenn) Maley of South Carolina; Two Brothers, Hughes (Hilda) Bennett of Puryear, Tenn. and Paul Bennett of Puryear, Tenn. He also leaves two grandchildren: Duncan and Hailey Bennett, both of Puryear, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm Wednesday, November 19, 2014 and from 11 am - 1 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 20, 2014.
Chad Kennedy and William Jones will officiate.
Interment will be at Oak Grove cemetery near Puryear, Tenn.
