Bill Culley
Bill Culley passed away at his residence at the age of 77 on November 8th.
Culley’s funeral will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 12th at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maplewood cemetery. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 PM on Tuesday and after 11 AM on Wednesday.
Culley married Najie Stovall Culley on November 16, 1978
Culley is survived by four children: Rusty (Catherine) Culley, Paris, TN; David Culley, Atlanta, GA; Lance (Karla) Culley, Paris, TN; and a sister, Camille Culley, Nashville, TN.
Culley served as CEO of Ellis Heating Co., a company he had been with since 1961. Culley was a former city commissioner and mayor of Paris and board of directors at BPU.

William Solis
Mr. William Adam Solis, 57, passed away at Henry County Medical Center Friday, November 7, 2014.
Funeral service will be held at 7 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, Tennessee.
Mr. Solis is survived by his son, Jason William Kanas of Long Pond, Pennsylvania; parents, Peter and Elizabeth Green Solis of Paris, Tennessee; sister, Juanita (Paul) McDade of Paris, Tennessee; brother, Peter Anthony Solis, Jr of Kingsville, Texas; grandchildren, Fletcher and Autumn Kanas of Long Pond, Pennsylvania; and three nephews and one niece.

Catherine "Kay" Traver
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Hillard of Antioch United Methodist Church officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Bill Mosley, Ricky Price, Ray Harding, Ty Johnson, Dana Deem and Roman Kuykendall. Serving as honorary pallbearers are William Weaver, Justin Johnson, Nathan Johnson and Brady Johnson.
Visitation 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 Saturday.
She was born in Albany, New York to the late Frank and Martha Smith Cain. On October 28, 1946 she married Vincent C. Traver, he preceded November 11, 1992.
Survived by daughters: Debbie Traver, Paris, Donna (Ty) Johnson, Paris; grandchildren: SSGT Justin T. (Chesley) Johnson, McKenzie, Jeannie C. Johnson, Paris; great-grandchildren: Nathan T. Johnson, Brady L. Johnson and Haley Johnson.
Preceded by sisters: Ellen Gepfert, Ann Martin, Margaret Colvin; brothers: Francis Cain and Joseph Cain .
Mrs. Catherine was a homemaker.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Paris Henry County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 912, Paris, TN 38242.

Elizabeth Oliver
Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Oliver will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday November 9, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Sunday until service time at 2:00 P.M. Elder Maley Davidson of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Oliver was born on July 7, 1918 in Farmington, KY to the late Lee V. Miller and Mary Edna Lewis Miller. On January 22, 1938 she married Porter Oliver who preceded her on March 10, 1998.
She is survived by two sons John Porter (Jean) Oliver, of Paris TN and Joe Carter (Ann) Oliver, also of Paris TN. A half-brother Charles (Julie) Miller, of Murray KY. Grandchildren Ginger (Ronnie) Evans, Tracy Newton, Casey (Stacy) Smith, and Mike (Kristi) Oliver. Great-Grandchildren T.J. Evans and Jack Porter Oliver. Also one Great-Great Granddaughter Dakota Sloane Evans.
Mrs. Oliver is preceded in death by two sisters Mary Ellen “Sis” Wright, Vernon Marine Miller, and three half-sisters Opal Roberts, Reba Whitaker, and Florence Brisindine. Also by four brothers James L. Miller, Jacob L. Miller, Claude P. Miller, and Robert R. Miller, and one half-brother John L. Miller.
She was a member of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church who enjoyed needlework and scrapbooking. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.

Gary Gray
Gary B. Gray passed away at his residence in Paris, TN November 6, 2014.
Visitation will be from 3 - 6 pm Monday November 10, 2014 at Ridgeway Funeral Home, Paris, TN with The Funeral Services at 6:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Chad Kennedy will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. November 11, 2014 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
Besides leaving his wife, Martha Brigman Gray, of Paris, TN, he leaves a son, Gary S.(Becky) Gray of The Woodlands, TX; Daughter, Melanie Gray of Montezuma, N.M.; a granddaughter, Natasha(Alford)Stanley and three great grandchildren of The Woodlands, TX; Nieces, Lisa (Dan) Gaskill and Karla(Bud)Buchanan, nephew, Greg (Belinda) Gray; a Stepson, Richard (Stacey) Boner of Smithfield, VA; Stepdaughter, Debbie Crotty and Special Friend, Al Callovini of Staunton, IL; Step-grandson, Jeff (Meagan) Crotty of Staunton, IL; Step granddaughter, Amanda Crotty and Special Friend Tony Mason of Livingston, IL, several step great and great-great grandchildren. Mother-in-Law, Lois Brigman of South Roxana, IL, Brother-in-Law, Darrell Brigman of South Roxana, lL.
Gary was originally from Houston, TX and worked as a Q.A. Inspector for a company at Shell Oil Company in 1986. He worked as a Welding Inspector traveling thru out the United States, Indonesia, and the Alaskan Pipeline.
Gary owned and operated Cherokee Steel Welding and Fabricating in Paris, TN. until he had to retire due to illness.

Willis Sharpe
Willis Lee Sharpe, age 83, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was married Sept. 3, 1977 to Karon Joyner Sharpe, and she survives.
He was a Retired Supervisor of Grounds and Buildings for Marquette County Wisconsin. He was also a Member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Willis was born February 20, 1931 in Westfield, WI to the late Spencer Albert Sharpe and the late Lydia Louise Lippert Sharpe.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his Seven Children all in Wisconsin; 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren; His Step Family-2 Children, 4 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren; Special Brother-in-laws, Jerry (Lana) Joyner of Paris, TN and Dale (Cindy) Joyner of Henry, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. He will be cremated with A Memorial Service at New Life Baptist Church at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014.
Dale Joyner will officiate.

Janice Fitzhugh
Janice Carol Fitzhugh, age 67, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Residence in Paris, Tenn.
She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Janice was born December 12, 1946 in Paris, TN to the late Cecil Clutts and the late Louise Barrows Clutts.
She is survived by her One Son, Jeremy Fitzhugh of Buchanan, Tenn and One Grandson, Jaycob Fitzhugh.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. There will be a Graveside Memorial Service at Rose Lawn Mausoleum at 4:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2014.
Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum in Paris, Tenn.

Donna Bowers
Donna Jo Hill Bowers, age 74, of Springville, Tenn., died Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was born January 13, 1940 in Blytheville, AR to the late Joe N. Hill and the late Maureen Godwin Hill.
Donna was married on November 4, 1983 to Dennis Neal Bowers and he preceded in death January 26, 2011.
She had attended Mt. Juliet Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and The Paris Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a former Daycare operator and a Homemaker.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Nelson of Nashville, Tenn, Julie Flannagan of Gallatin, Tenn, One Son, Kevin (Janet) Lewellen of Springville, Tenn; Two Step-Daughters, Sandra Craddock and Caroline Birchmore; Two Step-Sons, Stephen Neal Bowers and Michael Bowers; Seven Grandchildren, Ashleigh Lewellen of Springfield, MO, Justin (Kelly) Lewellen of Nashville, TN, Caitlin Lewellen of Springville, TN, Jenna Claire Nelson of Nashville, TN, Julianna Nelson of Nashville, TN, Aiden Flannagan of Gallatin, TN, Keegan Flannagan of Gallatin, TN; Two Great Grandchildren, Ava Lewellen of Buchanan, TN, and Darby Lewellen of Nashville, TN; Several Step Grandchildren and Several Step Great Grandchildren.
Besides her Husband and Parents, Donna was preceded in death by a Son-in-law, Tony Flannagan, Step-son, Brook Anthony Bowers, and Sisters, Nancy Oliver and Mary Lou Hatch.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 2 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of
Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014.
Stephen Bowers will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Lewellen, Joseph Austin, Chris Austin, Jeff Nelson, Michael Bowers, and Aden Flannagan.
Cremation will follow the service then burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery in Collierville, TN.

Ollie Williams
Ollie “Brownie” Williams, age 86, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married November 9, 1946 to James Floyd Williams he died April 9, 2005. She graduated from Trezevant High School. She was a former secretary at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, IL and a former member of Pilgrim Rest Presbyterian Church that was in Christmasville, TN. She was also a former member of the Paris Moose Lodge.
Ollie was born October 7, 1928 in Christmasville, TN to the late Lee Andrew Arrington and the late Edna Smith Arrington.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Carole Williams of Berrien Springs, Mich, Sherry (J.T.) Crosno of Paris, Tenn; Two Sons, Joel (Teresa) Williams of Chicago, Ill, James David (Julie Ann) Williams of Chicago, Ill; One Sister, Betty Jean (John) Terrones of St. Petersburg, Fla; Grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Crosno, Joel (Misty) Crosno, Vanessa (Jesus) Manteca, Benjamin (Mavis) Williams, Zachary Schnitta, and Jillian Schnitta; Great Grandchildren, Jordan Crosno, Jessica Crosno, Leah Jo Crosno, and Alyvia Crosno.
Ollie was also preceded in death by a Sister, Annella Arrington and Brothers, Richard and Willard Arrington.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Friday, October 31, 2014 and after 11:00 AM to Saturday, November 1, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 12:30 PM Saturday, November 1, 2014.
Gary Don Williams and Sam Dowland will officiate. Grandsons will be Pallbearers
Interment will be at Pilgrim Rest cemetery in Christmasville, TN.
